Hashimoto didn't even finish top 16 at Zennihon Takkyu 2025 so she didn't even make the NT Reserve Players. Sasao made it probably for winning Zennihon Shakaijin Takkyu 2024. Takeya made it probably for winning Inter-High 2024 (It was back in last August and so should've made the previous list in October but the council meeting probably didn't happen before then).

Uda as the top NT Reserve Player is tantamount to saying he is not worse than the NT Players.

Morizono Masataka is now the Men's Junior NT head coach.

Once again, Japanese is a high-context language and more often than not what they say are so convoluted it is open to interpretations. When Ito, who is known for speaking her mind, suggested she would not play WT if she didn't secure WS for Paris 2024, the way she worded it was open to interpretation as well and apacible over at MyTT thought she didn't mean it when many 5ch users and I believed otherwise (simply from what happened for Asian Games 2022). In much the same way, try to convince yourself that Sato didn't mean anything when she said "just running away from facing reality." It sounds to me you folks are also running away from reality.

Look, as the comments I quoted showed, 5ch users were split on what Hashimoto meant in that interview, hence my stance to reflect that as well.

And save this "gospel" thing for yourself whenever you fail to come up with a sound counterargument.
