Besides TT, what other sports do you do?

I played soccer for a looooong time. But when covid happened, all of my teams fell apart. I figured, i'm in my 30s and i haven't had a serious injury from playing soccer yet. Im playing with house money. i retired from the field and started focusing only on table tennis.

I do like to slack line for fun though. Good for the core strength and balance, which is super important for table tennis.

Badminton.
TT and Badminton all year round (can't decide which I like more). Bit of cycling from May to October and in the winter months 1-2 per week gym + swimming. If I had more time I would probably do more, but my line of work is physically and mentally exhausting...and the older I get, the more resting time I need.

I did play tennis and table tennis simultaneously last season, but this year I skipped tennis altogether. I also ride enduro mountain bike, albeit the weather is so tricky this season that when I have the time to ride, it’s raining and thus trails are muddy and soggy (very slippery), and when I don’t have time it’s perfect conditions. 😂😂

As I'm getting older, nowadays, I only do two sports/exercises, lifting weight and playing table tennis. I believe these two are perfectly complementing each other. One focuses strength ad muscle and the other agility, cardio, reflex and brain work.

I'm fortunate enough that I've been injury free for many years and I have reached relative high level in both that are enjoyable and sustainable for me. As a side note, I am often commented that I don't look like a typical table tennis player.
When some new people ask me how I get so jacked, I often tell them: just play more table tennis, trying to lure them into the sport. In reality, table tennis alone won't get you in really good shape but lifting weight does.

Did muay thai before TT. Now I've joined the dark side and play pickleball since all of my friends also play and it's more healthy than getting drunk all the time like we used to do.

I tried getting my friends to play TT with me for years and nobody wanted to. I still haven't stopped watching TT though. I'm watching videos of WTT right now actually haha.
