you the one making all these claims about you know CNT so well.

so, tell me, your sources
is it zeio and teiba?
The only claim I have made here that most people can hold me to is an argument on semantics and practice. Practice partners Vs Clones.
You've had your mouth in everything from the coaches, teams, players to disputing the existence of the rollback of archaic customs and practices.
And I've just brought up two instances where you made spurious claims, and you used your CNT connection to back them up. And you just admitted that those weren't from your "sources." And there's definitely more, but that's two I can remember.
I think you're the one overreaching here Tony. But if you can't see that, I can't help you.

Truls is slowly putting together a very underrated career so far. From being supposedly one one the worst silver medallists of all time to now having a WTTC bronze, Olympics silver and decent performances in this Champions and so on... just needs some European titles and wins over Felix....

Is Hina's coach even a qualified physio?
WTT has accreditation (passes), and only the one that is "doctor" can address medical conditions.
there are times where no doctor traveled with, but MA has too many officials and I have seem some officials getting accreditation as doctors before. So, i'm sure WTT/ITTF doesn't check the actual medical accreditation for each person, but one needs to be registered as one for the tournament.

And to be on point, if no coach was announce for the match (need to give in names to officials), no one can go to the court side during Hayata's medical time out, not even his personal coach. at most, the accredited team doctor can (you will see they normally sit near the players bench - next time I see clips of it, I will share with you on whatsapp)

Its awkward for JTTA to file a complaint, since it involved they own too, but i'm sure pros are looking at this circus and say, oh, just another example, laugh a bit, and move on.

One would think that standards are high, both during matches and everything us. During matches - everyone can see jokes here and there. Behind the scenes, generally Asian events are very good.

Tired of seeing Tongtong win impressive slug outs against Hayata/Mima/Miwa and then lose to Yidi or KM in the final. Like Girl! Come on! Get this title!!!
Her job description and KPIs probably reads differently from the others. Pretty sure she has clocked out after today's win. Very dedicated employee

Sun Yingsha is alive you know....
Shasha is more skilled than her on an overall basis. So losing to her is normal to me. But I just think her defensive style has let her down in close matches she could have won against Wang Yidi. I don't think she's worse than Wang Yidi.

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. Wang Yidi isn't going to play the Olympivs either and also has one bronze in WTTC singles so that sounds about right. KM is younger so good luck on that one. But since Sun Yingsha is playing well, CXT has no chance for a title, that is all I am saying.

If Miwa wanted to she should have told the referee that Hayata has to forfeit the match as she took 8 minutes in her medical timeout where the rules state a maximum amount of time for a medical time out is 5 minutes but I guess if she did that Hayata fans and JNT would be unhappy.
The 8 minutes is made up of 3 components: 1 normal timeout that Hina took, a 2 minute medical evaluation period called a 'Medical Break', followed by a 5 minute 'Medical Timeout' if deemed necessary for a total of 8 minutes. So Miwa cannot really object on grounds of excessive time, but she does have grounds on the clarity on when and who can provide treatment. During the Medical Break it has to be WTT Physio or Event Doctor. And there was a lady from WTT that did this. However, is your physio/trainer allowed to come during the 1 minute timeout and medical timeout. If he had already been there from the beginning, then as a coach I think he can provide an arm massage during the 1 minute timeout. But because of Japan's no coaches during Japan vs. Japan, then it just complicates everything. I really think they need to get rid of that. There should also be clarity from WTT whether he was allowed during the medical timeout. It's clear for the medical break, but not explicit for the medical timeout.

It's one of those things where I'm happy for Hina overcoming physical pain to win it. But I'm also sad for Miwa because the medical break + timeout did break the flow of the game.

What do you think of just plain no coaches allowed (for all matches/everyone)? like in tennis - which WTT is trying so hard to clone for table tennis.

Yep, this is terrible and I think WTT need to address this, especially toilet gate that is probably worse of an offense imo

Here's a clip of the Harimoto/WH handshake incident:

I didn't notice it the first time, but after trying to shake hands with Wang Hao, Harimoto turns around again and shakes hands with the air. LOL
Thanks for the cut. Wow. Tomo was obviously very pissed. He felt Wang Hao dismissed his performance as if 'it's not you did well but my player did poorly'.
Compared to other countries, Chinese coaches didn't fare well in terms of manners, respecting to others.
I especially dislike the way they publicly scolding their losing (sometimes even winning) players. As an emerging superpower, Chinese coaches need to pay attention to their public image.

To be frank, when Tomo is on, none of Chinese can seriously challenge him except WCQ assuming he is also on.

Although there is some value in seeing how the players deal with timeouts independently, ultimately, I think there is more value in allowing for personal coaches (or national coach if a player doesn't have a personal coach) in Japan vs. Japan. Even in Japan's domestic tournaments they allow for personal coaches. Ultimately, I want to see what the "best" a player can do and coaching a player to do their best during the event is a part of many sports. This is beneficial for not only the player, but also for the coach as well.

yes, I agree its better for the coach. But a part of me, also wonders, if tennis can do it, why can't TT.
coachless bench would challenge the players ability so much more and it will be a true player vs player competition.

and i'm sure you and many will agree, coaches in TT has really helped win matches for the player many many times.
