Cannot watch it unfortunately, since SVT has the rights to brodcast in Sweden but they chose not to. I guess they are not interested in bringing table tennis to the people contrary to their claim.

Like two days ago, when Hashimoto were about to play against Qian. They chose to broadcast some boring Wong vs Dima game that were already broadcasting on Youtube. Stupidity. Then yesterday, they were "forced" to broadcast Hashimoto since nothing else were on, and the commentator were utterly surprised that Hashimoto could put balls on the table!

Not all is bad though. The J-O Waldner side comments when they do send are priceless. For example, when Walther gave Shidong a good run he laughed and said that Anton did very very well to win a game against.
I think you got it wrong. They predicted that Hashimoto would be a tough nut and actually is the player that is hardest for the Chinese to meet. Yes Waldners comments on the play was priceless. He really raised the commentary by the understanding of the fantastic game and points and praised Hashimoto.

Even in this poor form, WMY could "burst" for 6 to 7 points in a row.

WS QF
Hashimoto (11) 2-4 WMY (2) (-10, 7, -7, 8, -7, -9)

By G5, it was written on Hashimoto's face that she had her hands full. WMY could read Hashimoto's spin/no spin with confidence and became less and less cautious about looping continuously close to the table without resetting the spin with a push.

Yes very disappointing - they have limited monetary resources...
Yes but this was their chance, home event and they were not online until the event was over. It’s f——g rediculous, all other sports they are online until the end.
It’s disrespect for the sport… f—k e’m…

Cheers

Oh, you really think that Duda who lost to Quadri in April is unbeatable? Maybe you can point out the last time Alexis had a similar loss? And we have not even got to the head to head record between Alexis and Duda.

Everyone can have their opinions about a level of player. My opinion is that Uda beating Duda *at the time he did it* was not so much a differentiator vs. Togami losing to Alexis. I believe Duda has improved since then. Of course, you can cite other data points and disagree. That is what fans do. But you need to understand someone else before yoy can talk about being on the same page with them. This has been a perpetual struggle for you so I am okay with not being on the same page.
Your two previous posts would have been more convincing if you hadn't argued with me over Duda for the past several months. Where is A. Lebrun now? Remember what you said about Quadri when he lost to Robles at WTTC 2023?

I'm not sure why Hashimoto didn't use her reverse backhand serve more often. I think she used it three times total, first one was chiquita-ed nicely but the other two either gave her an outright point or nice setup IIRC. Still a very good tournament for her again, beating two CNT and stretched WMY to the limit. Easily the best performing non-CNT after Winter (CXT) and Odo (ZYL). Even with 5 CNT knocked out (Kuai Man and HZJ cannibalised) we still have all China semis lol.

That said I'm not really sure what else Hashimoto could have done better. Less attacking errors maybe but that's what happens when you play under pressure. I fear she might have reached her ceiling already because the only way she can improve further is to become Joo Se Hyuk and I'm not sure if that's physically possible.

LSD has to play mixed doubles now at 10:25 late night hour, then get up for tomorrow 7am Mens doubles final, then get ready for Gauzy at noon semifinal

Talk about tough schedule, no matter how old (young) one is
You're mixing up time zones between today and tomorrow - he has 6 hours more.
