A lot of junk rubbers with false Ittf logo available from Taobao. Pimples treated by means of ozone oxidation. Frictionless glassy pimples by Neubauer SUPER BLOCK 70 ¥.

I have a friend traveling to China this month, so I asked him to pick me up some rubbers. Are there some China-only rubbers that are not typically available outside? What are some good recommendations?
Yeah there are heaps. My main rubber is China only, it is the Xuperman Powerplay, I definitely recommend it. If you're just keen on trying something different, I'd recommend getting rubbers in the 100-150RMB range. Just heaps of fun stuff at little cost. E.g. RKT Hyperpower has a new AMG version.

Yes, I thought about the Powerplay. But it seems kinda expensive for a Chinese rubber ($30?). Also I read that it is very slow and dead...so I might not like it. How does it play for you?

I actually have the RKT Hyperpower, I got it for like $11 on Aliexpress and I really like it. Not sure what's different on the AMG version.

Any other 100RMB rubbers you like?

AMG version?

Not bad...
Are cuifeng and chonglan both Pinyi? Whats the difference?
I heard Chonglan is more premium, but I don't really know these rubbers that well, I just know they exist...
I have tried both. Just get some H3 provincial BS, they are like $30 in China.
Fair enough, but if you really want the rare stuff, you can go for it. My seller uses these rubbers.

Cuifeng is Pinyi, Chonglan is different brand. I don't have experience with Chonglan so can't tell. Price wise Chonglan is a bit cheaper. 88rmb for sticky and 108 for the grippy Pro version. Pinyi grippy rubbers are also more expensive around 138.

It's a lot softer than traditional topsheets. I think it's a bit nicer than the ever popular Double Fish Violant (another great 100RMB option).
Not sure, I personally didn't like the Japanese style feeling the RKT Hyperpower went for, so I won't be trying the AMG version.

Cuifeng is fun, they have two versions. One budget and one "premium". I found the topsheet too hard for my liking, kinda reminds me of the new Target National 3 topsheet.

I've heard good things about Chonglan, but apart from Gan (小甘哥) I haven't seen much of it being played at provincial level.

Is Volant really 100rmb?

I bought it for $11 on Aliexpress. Why would it be cheaper on Aliexpress?

The Chinese market pricing is actually wild. Volant can be found for 30-60RMB if you know the shop owner, or if you're buying other stuff at the same time. But Taobao + GST + shipping etc, it's about 100RMB.
