Does it really make the setup less head heavy?

Haha, no it doesn’t, It will not make any difference at all
Try putting something like 5 grams there, that will makes difference.

Ok, did it, and fixed with sidetape, but know it feels handle heavy LOL, i added just sidetape at the beginning because in my experience the sidetape at the head makes the blade feels really bad to me, so i was thinking just a bit of sidetape at the handle would the make the setup better.

I know players who does it and are happy with the minor weight adjustment to balance it.
So from what I hear, it works.

Its all relative to see how much weight balancing you want to achieve.

you would require some getting used to, or try and smaller coin

You mean only a bit from the sidetape?
yes

I asked those players I see, and they said for weight balancing.
I haven't experience before, just sharing what I has been told when I saw them before.

Here, most likely, this is done primarily to increase the wedge of the handle. From my experience, to change the balance, you can glue something heavy metal with hot glue to the end of the handle. It holds well and, if desired, can be easily dismantled without damaging the handle.

Changes to balancing are very subtle. I also use coins. A D-Mark coin (4g) was a bit too much to balance my W968 with 2 XIOM J&H Z52.5, but a 2 cent coin (2g) feels perfect. Best to my knowledge the Stiga CWT weights are 3g differences as well. So sidetape (2g) would also make a difference.
