Looking for a Hybrid Chinese rubber (+booster) to alternative Tibhar K3

says Happy ;)
Hi everyone,

I’ve been playing with Tibhar K3 for a while and I really like its performance, but I’d like to switch to a Hybrid Chinese rubber + Seamoon booster setup instead.
But I want to try something from the Hybrid Chinese rubber family (Yinhe, Palio, etc.) that, once boosted, can give me a similar spin, speed compared to K3.
I'm considering: Sanwei Target National, Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia, Yinhe Big Dipper, Palio Thor’s,...
Does anyone here have experience?
Thanks in advance! Looking forward to your insights.

Check this. I recommend Big Dipper, Arthur China, Volant

New Sanwei Target National, blue sponge is very good. Its slow and controlable in the shortgame, and extremly spinny with the serves and loops. When attacking flatter it shoots of like a rocket and gives a lovely clicking sound. I have trien Hurricane 3 Neo, Hurricane 8, Skyline, Battle 3, Target Pro, Stiga Helix, Moon 12, Rosena, Mark V, syncro, and more. I think the BLUE sponge new Target National is better than all of above. Both on fh and backhand. It took some time on the backhand, but by engaging with spin it always lands on the table.

It variation of shots possible is awsome and as soon as you have calibrated to this rubber you too will love it.

What hardness does this new Sanwei Target National come in? Does it need to be boosted or can it be played unboosted? What blade have you played this on? Please throw some light on its arc, throw angle, spin and speed capabilities.

Hardness is around 40 degree China scale. It does not need to be boosted at all. I have tried it on Yinhe pro 01, Sanwei froster pbo, sanwei froster, Sanwei Verdi Inner and dhs Long 5. It truely is an amazing rubber! The shortgame is controlled with plenty of bite if you pinch it. Serves are crazy good, so much spin most people cant even believe it is possible.

Many describe the throwangle as low, but i think that must be an earlier version, it has crazy spin with the loop and the rubber likes to be played active, for example it gives you control when hit with spin.

When hit hard it shoots of like a cannon, i get more top end speed with this than Stiga Helix.

The downside is when played passive or with flat hits. I think the tackiness makes it loose control in this department, but when rubber gets a little dustier after like 30 min of play, the control comes too.

I have also tried the Sanwei target National players edition, it is a margin less tacky witch increase the control in the flat hit department.

I can from the bottom om my heart recommend The new sanwei national blue sponge, and sanwei national players black sponge. Amazing rubbers that come second to none.

Sincerely Robert
