How good do you need to be to play in the bundesliga, division 1,2, or 3?
how do you join a team? is it a try out? or do you get scouted?
I want to eventually play for a team in the bundesliga. my dream is to play for dussldorf, in division 1.
FC Saarbrücken-TT would also be great. how much do players get paid in each division?

BL1 = 2750+ USATT most 2800+ unless you end up at the end of the bench for a bad team but even in those cases you still need to be very good
BL2 = 2650+ USATT at a minimum but many players much better than this
BL3 = very wide range here, but some players as good as 2750 and some as low as 2600

You get scouted.

Why do you think you will be able to move to Germany to play for their junior team? Are you a German citizen? For reference the top German juniors your age are probably already 2400+ USATT level and I believe you are 1800. By the time you are 15-18 you would need to be 2600+ USATT minimum likely to even have a chance to qualify for the team if you are even a citizen.

The hardest part will be convincing my parents to let me move away before i am 18, maybe it could also be for months at a time then i could come back to visit
That will not be the hardest part, the hardest part will be going from 1800 to 2600+ in the next 3 years...we have discussed this before...

if you said the division 1 players are at least 2750 then why is LI Yongyin who had the highest ranking position as number 763 in the world on the dussldorf team? because i am pretty sure he is not 2750.
and one of my other coaches who had a rating of high 2500s played for division 2. so are you sure that those numbers are correct?

Li Yongyin has almost the same german TTR as Kanak Jah who is 2800 USATT. There are only so many chinese players who can play internationally and get world ranking points.

Here you can see the TTR points of german 1. Bundesliga:

If you follow the Kanak Jah example you can add 300 points to the TTR to estimate the USATT.

my dad is a german citizen. he said if i want to do that then he can get me a citizenship.
my coach also played for division 3 and his highest rating was 2400 something

If I was you I would get german citizenship, move to germany, start training in some club and start playing in some low division matching your level and as you get better you will move to higher division

when? because I am pretty sure I can't move to Germany any time soon. but I sent an email a bit ago to Peter sartz, and he and my parents are talking right now about a potential training opportunity at Trelleborgs table tennis academy for 2027 and I would go for around 4-5 months. not 2026 because I will be training in portugal over summer

So you think your opportunity in Portugal is valuable enough to delay going to Germany? Trying to learn and understand how you evaluate the tradeoffs on your limited time schedule.

I guess that's a good point, its mostly because my mom espesially isn't really ready for me to be gone from home for that long.
but i think sometime next month I am going to talk to them about everything, tell them all of my goals, and you never know what could happen. They might say that i can go train in germany next year. they might say that i can move to germany in the next few years

Yes I am sure Li Yongyin is somewhere around 2750. I've explained already in other threads that world ranking is meaningless in many cases, and this is something you should be familiar with by now. It's the same reason you mentioned you had almost beat a world ranked player from South America who in reality was only about 2100 USATT.

I am confused, if your goal is to get international experience and world ranked, why you would choose to try to compete for a more competitive country (Germany) rather than a less competitive one (USA) where you'd have an easier chance getting international tournament opportunities. Why?
