So im playing with Viscaria for most of my time. Enjoy it and feel I can control it pretty well.
I am curious about trying to set up a all wood blade just for fun to see how my game would change. I use Dignics 05 both sides. Would use that as well on the all wood blade.
If I look for an all wood that is plenty fast. But light. Easy to control etc. What are some of the BEST all wood blades out there?
If you had to make a list of top 3? And why?

The more i think about what your looking for. The more i think you would reallly like koki niwa wood. Thats a classic blade thats not too heavy, with good speed and fantastic control and feel.

They are discontinued, sadly but I would strongly recommend searching for any Stiga Azalea (either Allround or Offensive) blades :) . Have played with both of them and I can say they have a great feeling, especially when combined with medium hard rubbers. Azalea Offensive for me is really good OFF- blade, quite fast when doing correct stroke and really nice for blocking. Really good for controlled offensive style that relies more on placement and consistency rather than speed or power. In my opinion, one of more underestimated blades.

I can only highly recommend the OSP Virtuoso+, the build quality is unrivaled (hand made), great control, it's faster than a Korbel, and you can choose among a wide variety of handles (e.g. elcon, if you so wish), and you can also specify the head size. It's just over £100 if my memory serves me right. OSP also have a slightly slower Virtuoso blade (maybe a minus version, or just 'Virtuoso', where it's the same wood, but the Virtuoso+ has a hardened outer ply I believe)

Thank you for the interesting list — much appreciated. If you wouldn’t mind, I’d love for you to elaborate on what makes the CS Wood land on this list and stand out for you, and how you feel it compares to the Nittaku Acoustic and the Butterfly Korbel/Falcima in terms of speed, dwell/kick, control, weight/balance, and its overall feel on serves and blocks. If possible, I’d also be curious to know what rubber setup you had in mind (thickness, tension), as that would help put your comparison into better context.

(I actually considered the CS Wood myself but ultimately chose another blade for the moment — though I remain intrigued by it and curious about its performance.)

Timber 5 Off is the fastest 5-ply all-wood I own. Stiff, but with a decently soft feeling thanks to the limba outer ply. Vibrations are minuscule. Very light, 80-83 g usually.

Faster than TSPW, Offensive S and YEO, which I all have, and thus faster than a Korbel, which should be slightly slower and flexier than the Offensive S.
