I love XX, he is my favorite player from China, along with FZD. XX is one of the greatest but didn't seem unbeatable like the others. I could be wrong, though. Just what I felt watching his era.

They weren't unbeatable, the players from the other countries were also worse back then. I also checked a lot of results, and a lot of the times one or two of them gets beaten one of them still manages to win the tournament. They had 3-4 chinese who were the best. This is why I think WCQ is underrated. The expectations for him are higher due to him being the only chinese (at the moment, lin shidong partially) who can win the biggest tournaments. If you actually look results wise and also check older games you can see that the gap between them and WCQ isn't that big.
