Hey community,

I know there are alot of players here that use Hurricane 3 Neo, including me. And there are countless threads on how to use chinese rubbers, the different versions and hardness, how to boost them and so on.

I dont know if this has been posted before, but I found an interesting video in which Korean top players were asked about why they use Hurricane 3 Neo. Unfortunately, there are no english subtitles available, but I still think its worthwhile sharing.

Update: I have taken the time to translate most of the video. There are insights and answers about Hurricane 3 Neo from top players such as Jang Woojin, An Jaehyun, Shin Yubin and so on

Of course the fact mentioned that H3 are not affected by cold, hot and/or humid condition is a blatant lie 😂

JSH is right about Chinese rubbers having very little variation in different weather, which is supported by an old JTTA study, comparing the COR of Sriver, PF4, Spectol and PF4-651 at 0°c, 20°c and 40°c and 3-5m/s, 8-10m/s and 14-17m/s.

Sriver becomes just as slow as PF4 at 0°c for all velocities. There is hardly a difference for PF4 at 20°c and 40°c.

this is about H3 not Sriver
DHS PF4 is the spiritual ancestor of H3. And JSH was comparing Chinese and Japanese rubbers.

DHS PF4 is the spiritual ancestor of H3.
Weeeeell, maybe the real spiritual ancestor might be the 1mm layer of cork i played 70 years ago at the public swimming pool on a concrete table because there really was NO change there hot or cold 😂 😂 😂
