the WTTC lineup announcement plus Odo being called out for her serves by a very sharp umpire (why can't they all be like this guy) probably made the difference this time. JNT is at a point now where you can't break into the main team without overcoming major setbacks (Hirano for Paris, Hayata at WTTC 2019, Hashimoto with Miki House) so the real test for Odo will probably begin now. It's no mean feat as we can see from Ito who doesn't even bother to try now.

Mister Jang Woojin, why is your forehand so amazing? Second pic: Hurricane 3 rubber

P/S: Unker Gozo is reviewing his life decision of using Zyre03 instead becoming one of the Booster-Bros(tm)

That umpire has been really good at calling out the serves and I believe majority of his calls have been right. I think the umpire name is Robert. Can’t remember his last/family name.

WD SF
KM/CY (5) 1-3 Harimoto/Hayata (3) (-9, 6, -6, -7)
G3 52, 56 TO for CHN, 611
Another late TO by Qiu Yike in G3.
G4 37, 57, 59, 79 endline edge for CY, 711
CY is the weakest link.
Ito can retire. There is no place for her on the team.

WS R32
Hayata (10) 3-2 HZJ (-10, 16, -7, 7, 11)
G3 77, 711
G4 77, 117
G5 77, 107, 108 TO for Hayata, 109 slight net for HZJ, 1011, 1111 slight net for Hayata, 1211 HZJ yelled "net" after Hayata's scream, 1311
A late TO by Qiu Yike in G2 gave Hayata a second chance. The difference didn't become clear until after 7:7 in the last 3 games.

CXT (3) 3-0 Nagasaki (16) (6, 7, 9)
G2 105, 107 TO for CXT, 117
G3 21, 24, 34, 36, 56 yellow card for Nagasaki, 57, 77 Nagasaki served into the net and TO for Nagasaki, 87, 88, 98, 99, 119
Nagasaki forced some shots that could've been spun up instead.

Winter (15) 3-1 ZYL (4) (11, -5, 8, 8)
G2 37, 47, 49, 59, 511
G3 21, 23, 33 ZYL faulted for verticality and challenge failed, 43 TO for ZYL, 45, 55, 56, 66, 67, 107, 108, 118
G4 20, 21, 31, 33, 63, 66, 96, 97. 107, 108, 118
ZYL somehow got pinned down tactically and failed to come up with solutions.

Coton 0-3 F. Lebrun (6) (-8, -10, -6)
G1 52, 53, 63, 64, 74, 710, 810, 811
G2 62, 65 TO for Coton, 75, 95, 910, 1010, 1012
G3 13, 43, 44, 47, 57, 510, 610, 611
Not good. Same issue for Coton.
Honestly, on this Coton thing, you post like someone who has never played competitive table tennis at any level. It is typical for worse players to have and lose leads against better players, especially worse players with high risk high reward styles. I have done it often enough to lower rated players and have lost such leads to higher rated players so I am often puzzled when people turn a strength and stability issue into a character defect. Let's revisit the issue when Coton does it in matches he is favored to win. Otherwise, you can continue to press the issue, but I think it says more about your experience competing than any flaw in Coton's development or mental game.

Yupe. He called one for alex
Lebrun and Patrick and the both did not even want to challenge the call when they both had 2 reviews left. That says it all!

Not good damn
You predicted a lot of upsets even in matchups with significant history. That's always a high risk betting strategy though it pays off big if you have insights others don't that make the upsets likely to happen.
