DHS Long 5H

Anyone know anything about this new Long 5 variant by DHS? Released this year but I’ve never seen it? What exactly is the H fiber that is in it? Looks quite interesting and it’s quite cheap from ProTT too

DHS Long 5 compared to Harimoto ALC has a similar feel, but the important difference lies in the springboard effect when hitting hard. DHS has this feeling that Butterfly does not give you.

However, Innerforce ALC is easier to use but less powerful.

I think this also depends on the different types of ALC: Butterfly uses blue ALC, while DHS uses yellow ALC.

The difference between the two super ALCs will probably be similar to their normal versions.

So has anyone tried the 5H , is the handle thicker ? is it just as head heavy as the other Long 5s?

I managed to play with 5h for a bit, imo it is better than Long 5 and 5x . It is more direct, backhand is improved alot, forhand does not arc as much as Long 5.

Overall it works ok with d09c, but honestly I think most of these DHS hurricane blades are made to work with hurricane rubbers, and unfortunately I don't want to increase weight

I have Battle 2 blue provincial/Rxton 1 on it. Feels a bit stiffer/harder than Long 5. Backhand is definitely easier to play with than regular long 5/SYS. Forehand can still create good spin and has good feel.
