Most hardest sponge with tackiest top sheet Chinese rubber in your experience

There was a yasaka DO that was hard and tacky for Japanese. Otherwise maybe old pf4

I used a lot of years ago the Yasaka Do, very very nice rubber, my serves with other rubbers never got the same quality.

Am I the only one thinks that H2 had way harder topsheet and tack and sponge than H3? No? Okay

I don't think any of the newer ones compare to the small ball generation. They weren't really made to be penetrated by the ball but to cause friction.

You seem to have forgotten the horrible quality control of Loki. R9 had many version and as many punters that loved this rubber (like yourself) there are equally as many who just binned them.

Certainly that was the case a couple of years ago. I find however that Loki's QA has been improving over the last 6-9 months... I've been perfectly happy with their quality for quite a while now.

(Mind you, in saying that, please note that I only buy all my Loki rubbers direct from the factory, and in bulk. As a result, I always get sent their fresher rubbers, as opposed to older stock.

Sadly, I must agree that there are still a lot of older Loki rubbers out there across various retailers... if you buy online and manage to get some of Loki's older stock mixed in with your order, then their QA is really a crap-shoot.)

Gotcha ! 😁 and I hope for Loki's sake that you are correct. I am running RxtonR3 Pro on my FH now and trying the R9 provincial team-special on my BH and both rubbers are fine. Having said that, our Club captain told me last week that his LAC had started to develop the infamous bubbles.
