Sora comes through. But Ranefur continues the legend. I still remember those who thought LSD has no business losong to him. National team depth is not a good thing for the great players who never get their opportunity to shine but some are patient and persistent and get their chance. Happily Ranefur got his chance.

And now, time to watch Hayata suffer... Hopefully for a good cause.

First time I seen the Sweden Men Coach mad after the match.
Past: Typical case of Chinese coaching
Present: Isolated case of Swedish coaching

Ito and Hayata are now the "cancer cells" in the team that not just care about themselves only but are eating away at team morale by suppressing their teammates while they can't do jack against the CNT, something that CNT is eager to see continuing. Harimoto/Hirano simply doesn't work (they didn't even work on WD) and the lineup is built around the XT rather than WS.

Luck is not on KM's side at all against WMY, at least not so far.

Also, what's with WYD stopping us from an epic rematch between WMY (I think) and Miwa!

The ML-FZD dynamic is playing out between TH-SM. The younger player is severely disadvantaged by the absence of coaching in international head to head and buoyed by it on the domestic scene. It will be interesting to see whether Sora's talent and training is enough to overcome it.

Sora giving up G3?

Goooooo Tomo! Seems I cheered too early. Can't really view Sora through typical lens

In my opinion, Soro is a much more complete player than Tomo.
If he’d given it a bit of thought, there wouldn’t be seven sets to play...
