Lol that one mainlander basically invited more trolling by dwelling on the political subject. And then they posted the PRC flag next to LYJ, which ironically would not have been approved by WTT/ITTF either, according to their own earlier objection.
Real mainland Chinese fans of TT have been grouping LYJ along with the "foreign" rivals like Tomo, Felix, and Truls since the beginning.
I would also like to note that this isn't a complete copy of the chat, but a selection of the most antagonistic and inflammatory comments during that section in the chat. A fair few humorous, sensible and friendly comments pertaining to the discussion were left out.

WYD WR5 (3) 1-3 Meshref WR35 (-7, -7, 9, -7)
Not surprised after USA GS 2026.

The "market value" loss of Hayata's major medals continues...

That’s twisted thinking. Rather the value of Wang Yidi’s market value is declining. WYD 2024 was stronger than now

Both of you have it wrong. Meshref has always had a style that troubled the Chinese because of her lefty spin. Her first match vs Wang Manyu had 3 deuces or somethijg like that. When Doo Hoi Kem beats Wang Yidi, we can revisit.

No. The same is actually consistently said of Ito's major WS medals among fans in China.

As Japanese writer TOMISAKA Satoshi pointed out, this is a problem with the Japanese people that are very wary of going against the mainstream and can cope with either good or bad only, whereas the Chinese people can accomodate both the good and the bad simultaneously.

Not a single game for Szocs in the past 4 encounters since Winter switched to anti and boom.
Szocs has a thing for Macao and WTT CS.

Any updates to your Olympics prognostications?
Same thing. I'm looking at 3 years from now. As the H2H shows, Szocs losing to Winter has nothing to do with equipment.

So you're quoting the *opinions* of some fans and a writer. Look at the actual *facts*. Prior to her meeting with Hayata at WTTC 2023, WYD had only 1 loss to a non-Chinese player, Miu Hirano, losing 3-2,12-10 at 2023 Singapore Smash. And in all of 2022, WYD has zero losses to non-Chinese players. That's a record even CXT couldn't claim at the time.

So did Hirano and Hayata break Wang Yidi or was Wang Yidi invisibly broken lol? It seems like a Rorschach test lol...

I hate that in this match. It's flowing well.
Brutal two net cords to save match point and then gain set point there for Kuai Man.
V. Enjoyable match here
What a match indeed! Han Ying beats Kuai Man 3–2.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but HY has a 100% win rate against CNT players this year, right?

HY WR17 3-2 KM WR4 (2) (-6, 8, 3, -10, 6)
G2 14 TO for HY, 24, 26, 86, 87, 97, 98, 118
KM eased and got hasty.

Winter's WS spot for LA28 is in jeopardy unless HY gives up willingly...
