I use Joola's sealant. Two very thin coats, wiping off the excess sealant with paper towels after a coat, and letting each coat dry for 24 hours. No splinters at all in all 8 blades I've used it on, and the coats are so thin it makes no noticable difference.

H8-80 to me is probably the culprit. I tried 38 and 37 on a friend's blade, and it felt like playing with a racket glued with mashed potatoes instead of TT glue.

You could also switch to a faster blade if you enjoy the Rozenas. Which blade are you currently using?

Stuor Apolonia ZLC feels less crisp than the original, but plays really well and it's a very fast blade. Stuor Viscaria is very very similar to the original. For 30$, it's an amazing purchase. The finish on these blades actually felt better than my Violin.

Beast vs Miikka hopefully, that is going to be one hell of a match.

For me, the ball kept slipping off of AK47 Red when lifting backspin, or when going for slow and spinny shots. When it didn't slip it produced a high quality shot, but otherwise it felt like playing with a 10 year old rubber that can't grab the ball. Moon speed had a very bad durability...

Never buy expensive stuff from AliExpress.

Before going even softer I was wondering if there were any fitting medium hardness rubbers. I'll keep playing with the Mantra Pro for a bit and see if I get more consistent with it while waiting for the Moon and possibly getting a few Vegas. Maybe even the new Korea. I definitely want something...

Thanks, I might try those. I did have a Vega X sheet and it felt softer, but unfortunately I gave it away. Will have to buy more of them.

Got a new stuor inner ZLC blade for fun and testing, and I quite like it. It's fast though, and it's even faster with Mantra Pro M on the BH and Mantra Pro XH on the FH. With the FH I can do quite well honestly, though I also have a new Big Dipper sheet to try on it as a slower option that could...
