We have played with basketballs and volleyballs ala foursquare. Don't try this on wimpy tables ;)

When every school in has a table tennis team from 2nd grade through high school and there are club teams in every town and they are very popular and attract great coaches with good pay just like baseball, soccer, football, hockey, skiing et'al then America/ Europe will have a shot at China...

That's impressive numbers, watch for it to explode over the next 5 years!
