I use G-1 on both FH and BH. Blade is the Primorac Carbon. I play close to the table and play aggressively on both FH and BH. I am more of a flat hitter than top spin but can top spin when needed. I love the setup. I'd like to try a number of Butterfly rubbers but can't justify the cost.

Putting in as many hours possible training and with excellent coaching will get you as close as possible to your maximum potential. Whether your maximum potential is good enough to mix it with the world's top pros is a question only your coaches can answer. Good luck young man.

For us amateur players is boosting really worth the effort. Wouldn't it be simpler to just find a blade and rubber combo that gives you the desired result.

A lot of good advice here and I'll give my 2 cents. Put all your table tennis equipment on ebay and sell them. If the only reason you're playing is to win a dick measuring contest at work then TT is not for you. If TT is the most difficult and frustrating sport you have played then obviously...

I use my Mizuno Morelia indoor soccer shoes, a bit pricey but worth every dollar.

None of my shots FH or BH have suffered because of this bat and rubber combination, in fact my game has improved.

I play with red on FH because red is faster and more explosive, think red sports cars 😂

I have Fastarc G-1 max on both sides of a Primorac Carbon. Works for me.

Trying new equipment is part of the fun of this sport however we should all be thankful we have a cheap hobby Try being a cycling enthusiast and having a case of EJ. Lusting after a new bike every 6 months will drain your savings very quickly.

Why don't you use a faster and/or spinier rubber instead of going through the hassle of boosting your rubbers every few sessions. Apologies if this has been answered before.
