  1. DHS Hurricane Long 5 and andro Rasanter C53

Maybe you should wait the c53 to loose its booster from production. You may feel more response from the rubber once it become slow/dead(!).
  2. Pongbot Nova S Pro owners' review and discussion thread

Training with this robot on midi table at home, made my backhand drive very solid. I became better at opening half long balls even on wide angle. I became better at varying spin, speed and placement. I enjoy training half long and short balls on FH side. This was the second best improvement i...
  3. Rubbers and blade for a begginer

Blade: yes way too advanced. I would recommend a 5 ply wood. FH: yes intermediate. BH: use thinner sponge at least. So unless you like to collect balls, I recommend you to use equipment that matches your level.
  4. Butterfly Zyre 03

It was way too quick on my Viscaria and Timo Boll Alc. It was even not possible to sweat during matches in compared to the matches I play with normal setups. I found it boring to do winner on one shot, the three misses. At my level, table tennis rallies are rarely at that tempo. So when opponent...
  5. blade is too head-heavy for me - any tipps?

Thread necromancer here! The more head heavy, the less I am able to play short heavy backspin serve. My short backspin serves are becoming half long, sometimes even long. Especially with a match ball. Plus being tensed in game, I end up with less options. Power is definitely better, if I pass...
  6. Butterfly Zyre 03

I’ve tried this rubber(2.5mm on FH) on two blades so far: an older TB ALC on last week and an OSP V+ on this week. On the TB ALC, the rubber felt extremely fast, explosive, zero to non dwell time. Many points ended immediately, either I missed long or I hit a winner. Serves were very heavy, and...
  7. Can i make it better? (Forehand)

I think your timing is not right. You contact the ball where almost your stroke ended, where you relaxed, because you need to be relaxed to reach. You should contact the ball little bit more close to your right leg foot projectively.
  8. My 15 month EJ journey in table tennis (Xiom offensive S+ Xiom 36.5 ALXi + TMXi + Viscaria)

I found your forehand topspin against block good compared to the 1 and a half year. It is hard to develop game on the first year such as playing safe, loop spinny open up, fast block, slow block, fishing, fast drive, counter topspin etc. You haven't explored probably what works for you best. As...
  9. coming back after a break, need help with choosing equipment

Best advice mostly is the most boring one but you could play with similar equipment that you used is the best thing you can do to your pocket. I think you should buy something quickly and start training. For example: my brain starts to fantasy about other blades and rubber when I don't train...
  10. coming back after a break, need help with choosing equipment

Why do you want to use different equipment than what you are used to? If you think rubber is too hard and fast, you can try softer one. But it is not the best idea to buy an equipment without knowing what you need. I would buy same rubbers and start training, see if they are ok. If some certain...
  11. coming back after a break, need help with choosing equipment

Which rubbers and blade were you using previously?
  12. Viscaria bh rubber

It is been too long that I have used G1. I didn't like rubber. Somehow I wasn't able to do good contact with the ball consistently because of thin sponge and hard topsheet. I then boosted rubber, it was good on first training, but then pretty unresponsive. As an intermediate player who prefers...
  13. On bending knees and squatting

There is a video for that :) you can open your legs. Bending knees like Calderano waits for serve-receive is unnecessary. So: 1) open legs wider than shoulder width 2) lean torso forward(not upright, not super bended, but easy to load legs while playing) 3) Squeeze(or push if you still...
  14. Disappointed on myself

I solve this frustration issue by two things. Still frustrate but I handle better than before. Video record, and back to basics. Identify your mistakes CLEARLY that happened in the match. Make a checklist. Try to work on those. Be honest, opponent does things uncomfortable for you so that he...
  15. What are your favourite hybrid rubbers?

    1) Tibhar Hybrid MK (Huge confidence booster, just swing arm without worrying, you can also play with the arc high or low) 2) Xiom Omega 8 China (Spinny on soft brush during serves, good grip, ball trajectory changes on various speed differently that fools opponent)
