  1. Rubber with highest Throw Angle

The original hard version of Bomb Violent had a higher throw than T05, but I think they changed the formulation some time ago.
  2. Review of the STIGA Genesis Rubber

This rubber really does last forever. Over 3 months, 15+ hours per week and still looking and playing like new. Personally I've not seen anything like it for durability.
  3. Fred 43

Sorry about the delay in replying, just got back from hols. His first vid on Youtube was at about 4 1/2. We have earlier clips of him playing on camcorder and even some of him hitting balls at 1 or 2 on the kitchen floor, but it is too much trouble to get them converted and put them on.
  4. Fred 43

I'm probably taking him to Liverpool in a few weeks if I get round to entering him in the next couple of days.
  5. Fred 43

    Fred was 12 in April.
  6. Fred 43

I haven't been around for a while, but when I finally did log in, I had a message from Dan asking me to post a link to Fred's last video so people could see how he is getting on. As we made another vid 2 days ago, it makes more sense to post that one. He still hits the ball very hard when he...
  7. The New TTE Ranking List is out......

......and why have they bothered? It isn't worth anybody's time to read it. There is a tournament from December still missing as well as one from 3 weeks ago and these are just the ones I know of because they relate to Fred. Someone somewhere doesn't seem up to the job.
  8. Poly Ball Bounce Heights

I the UK they are available from our country's Butterfly supplier, in your country, you would need to try some of the suppliers to see who had Stag stuff.
  9. Poly Ball Bounce Heights

The Stag ball is the hardest and fastest thing I have ever hit with my bat!!!! The game will be completely different depending on which ball you use with a whole new type of 'home advantage' to make use of.
  10. Poly Ball Bounce Heights

Got bored yesterday so being the interesting person that I am, I bounced a few TT balls on the table and videoed it so you can form your own opinions about the relative bounce heights of Joola and Stag poly balls compared to a Butterfly celluloid ball. It shows that currently there is a great...
  11. The Future is Bleak For English Table Tennis

TBH Tony, I don't particularly want anything for free from TT England other than for Fred to be allowed to be selected for his country for events if ever at some stage he is good enough. They can keep their training and charge what they want for it (I've never been that impressed). He only ever...
  12. The Future is Bleak For English Table Tennis

Spoke to someone 'in the know' today and it seems that the current predicament (regarding kids being asked for huge amounts for a chance to play for their country) comes down to our sport being run by people from outside table tennis and them being extremely short sighted. The bottom line seems...
  13. Ranking List, Where is it?

28x£1555 is a lot of money that they are making from overcharging kids to attend their training camps (whilst excluding anyone who can't afford it), you would think they would be able to employ someone competent to make a ranking list. Bring back Doreen, that is all I can say.
  14. Ranking List, Where is it?

As Table Tennis England went to great trouble to tell us all the dates for publication of the ranking lists this year here:- http://tabletennisengland.co.uk/news/dates-set-for-publication-of-rankings/ It doesn't bode well that they are already late in month 1. If you can't deliver, then don't...
  15. Problem on TTD?

Had a fantastic 'Adult Date' last night. Thank-You TTD. (just kidding- but I did get a pop-up) (no euphemism intended)
