  1. Tenergy 05 or 05fx?

Thanks again L-zr, I'd been playing more recently with the nexxus pro 38 the softer ones were probably a couple of seasons back now. Is moving from a 38 to a 43 going to be that much of a difference if I stick with the 1.9 which was my plan?
  2. Tenergy 05 or 05fx?

Mine is the ALC.s too. if we said that I was at the lower end of intermediate, but I am getting help & practice drills with higher level players each week, would you be suggesting the fx version or am I misunderstanding?
  3. Tenergy 05 or 05fx?

Hi L-zr I'll be pairing it with an inner force ALC and I'm leaning towards fx, I'm just worried I might make it too bouncy and really hard in the short push game? Tbh though, at my level the push game tends to be 80% or more on the bh, so maybe I am worrying too much?
  4. Tenergy 05 or 05fx?

Hi TTD peeps, I feel that my technique has improved and I'm finally going to give the T05 a try on my forehand. I've tended to go mid or mid soft so far (nimbus sound, gewo nexus pro 38, aurus sound etc) so I'm wondering which version of T05 I should try out as I've been told that the normal...

Hi TTD Members, I am looking for a UK seller that might have an ALC.S for sale at a reasonable price to try out ? :) Thanks for reading.
  6. Where can l buy my table tennis bats?

Tees sport is the official UK distributer of butterfly equipment, but that does not mean they are the only one selling the kit. Bribar stock a limited selection of butterfly equipment. If we weren't in lockdown in the UK is say find your local club as someone always is selling something, but...
  7. Best blade for ambitioned hobby players

I remember when I started , I was the same... I wanted advice but my "thoughts" of my game were in a mile apart in terms of reality once I started playing at a club. Having spent the first 3 seasons ejing , there are some pieces of kit that I wish I had started out with. There are lots of...
  8. What ingredients makes rubbers sticky?

I know the article you talk about as I read snippets of it on a UK TT equipment website... The web page I found it in was this... https://www.ttequipment.co.uk/equipment-advice/rubbers-information/rubber-types-tacky-vs-non-tacky/ That page does say the original authors website is unavailable...
  9. Cheaper alternative for MJ Super ZLC

Didn't Andy Smith say that the Yinhe M202 was like a "mini mj zlc"? Think it was this review here: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/equipment/blades/17759-m202/
  10. Jupiter II Max Tense

    No worries :)
  11. Jupiter II Max Tense

Oh I am SOOOOO sorry that I didn't answer your question directly :rolleyes: I was pointing in the direction of these rubber reviews as a way to explain what the rubber does and how it performs. I thought that the post by NDH might give you an idea that it is "like" an ESN style, but...
  12. Jupiter II Max Tense

I found Jupiter 2 reviews on a UK website. You can see them here  https://www.ttequipment.co.uk/product/yinhe-jupiter-2-rubber/
  13. A little step up

I moved to Jupiter 2 back end of last season on my e3/e4 blades and I found it better (for me). It was between my Tibhar Aurus Sound (faster) and Gewo Nexxus 38 (Slower) in terms of speed (J2 slightly too quick on the e4, but just right on the e3), but comparable to Nexxus 38 in terms of spin...
  14. ADAM BOBROW THE VOICE OF TABLE TENNIS | TableTennisDaily Podcast #4

Adam Bobrow: 5 years from now---- He needs to be working within the ITTF, maybe helping them humanise Table Tennis and its players. This guy could really do some good things when you listen to his thoughts. He might just have an out-there idea that hits the spot :)
  15. First custom made racket

I've personally used the Zack and Energy x-tra when I was starting out.. Zack for me was a slower control rubber, last AGES, I took it off my racket after 4 months and it looked almost like it did when I put it on (I do try to look after rubbers too :)) Energy X-tra was a soft and bouncy all+...
