Yes, the code on the rubber sponge is just to indicate the manufacturing date. You have to scratch the security code on the packaging (not on the rubber sponge) to check for authenticity on DHS website.

It means as it stated that this blade was made in USA. There are some people e.g. located in USA who are selling blades but the blades are actually made in some factories located in other countries.

I am not competing with SDC Handmade Blades. I am just letting go those blades that I am no longer using.
