Update - My 75 Inner came this week and I've put boosted H3 Neo (2.1 / 39 hardness) on FH and FastArc C1 1.8 (Thick) on backhand.
The blade fits nicely in my hand, though I've put a Nittaku grip tape as I do with all my racquets. Weight is 90gms but well balanced. Total weight after rubbers...
I've had some quality issues with Jup 3 on Ali. It used be my fav FH rubber but after placing an order for 3 more 39 degree sheets on Ali (same store as before), I noticed they were noticeablely harder and even felt heavier on my v14 Pro. That caused me to find other alternatives and I've now...
I am using Sueke No 1 which I got from Ali. Great glue, but not as good as DHS No. 5.
I usually seal my blades with a thin layer of wood varnish followed by some light sanding. I might just do that here to be safe.
I would not recommended Carbon + Chinese rubber combinations for someone who has just playing the game. The sponge is generally harder than ESN rubbers and it takes time to learn how to get the most of them. But if you really have to, I suggest try AK47 Blue/Yellow or Red - the Red is the...
Thanks @turbozed - I've placed an order on Ali. Quick question - how did you find the transition from the Fextra to the inner carbon 75? Was there a big adjustment in terms of feel and control? Is there a noticeable speed difference?
Hi all,
I've used Sanwei Fextra in the past and it really like it's shape and handle. It's the best all wood blade that I've played ao far... I've also used the Yinhe v14 Pro and though it's a great blade, I've found it to be a bit big and heavy when compared to the Sanwei.
So my question...
At times, I've felt like my wrist has locked up during match days / big tournaments. This is felt when am warming up on my forehand drives and am unable to direct the ball properly. The sensation kicks in when I warming up before a match and gradually subsides when am in the middle on the match...
Mate, I don't own Newgy but I do have the Suz s303 model, which I think is the next version from the 201. I bought it from the company store on Ali and it was priced for less than a third of the Newgy that my friend owns - $900 as opposed to $2800 AUD. While I was initially quite reluctant and...
Jup 3 is too tacky to be used on the BH IMHO ... it does not have the throw or catapult needed to get the ball over on BH. Great FH rubber by the way. I've soft of given up on finding Chinese options on my BH momentarily - the last good option was Palio AK47 Blue. Trying out a few ESN and...
Yinhe Jupiter 3 - it is quite tacky, fast and low throw. The rubbers grips the ball well and does not spit it out of a catapult - great for power driving serves on the FH!
That is a very accurate description, @TensorBackhand!
I am playing with Jup 3, 39 degrees on FH and I've found it to have a much lower throw than tensor like rubbers. It's quite linear, quite tacky - goes very well with Yinhe v14 pro in my opinion.
Yinhe 970xxA, Yinhe Uranus Pro Medium 1.8 in red and Nittaku C1 1.8 in black... with Nittaku Morristo SP on it way..
Also, a bunch of other soft ESN rubbers in red... switching between short pips and soft ESN on BH this season..
Hmm, YSE is a fairly flexible blade... not at all hard by carbon comparisons, so then hard Chinese rubber such as H3/Big Dipper would go well as per your suggestion...
I've found that not to be true... I even tried the Xiom Vega X on it and it wasn't exactly the best combo, though not as bad as...
