  1. Thread about Japanese Players

Goodness, look at Hayata at Narita after Frankfurt. She looked so worn out, what is she doing at Muscat? (btw hello, it's been a while)
  2. Thread about Japanese Players

From Hayata's IG after Frankfurt win: Thank you to everyone who came to support us despite the time difference! I was very happy to win my first WTT title since returning from injury, and at the same time, I felt like all the time I spent facing up to myself was finally rewarded. Even though...
  3. WTT Singapore Smash 2025 (30 Jan ~ 9 Feb 2025)

Hayata lost all her strength in the final game. “After my play-arm injury at Paris, I’ve been working towards recovery. In this tournament although there were instances where I applied what I acquired during recovery, it wasn’t complete or enough, and my deficiencies were all in tactical...

  8. Why are these two choppers so successful?

Sato had tried other combinations, before high school graduation in 2016 and joining mikihouse. Here she was with Hayata (15) in WD Final at 2015 Korea Open. An interesting combo, lefty-righty, attack-defence. Was 0-2 up against Ito-Hirano, 2 right handed attackers, but lost in the decider 9-11.
  9. Why are these two choppers so successful?

Hashimoto & Sato in High School years (h2 & h3).
  10. Prescription Glasses advice

I wear progressive lens regularly except when I play, I switch to a pair of single focal. This avoids the ‘tunnel vision’ of progressives. Choose a frame with larger lens area so catching a close ball with the corner of your eyes will not be a problem. Avoid metal frames, the arms could bend...
  11. JTTA: Selection System to be Revamped for Paris 2024

There were indications (plus her IG posts) that it happened during the match with the PRK player. That she laboured on (further aggravated the injury) with SYS and SYB, and actually took a Bronze make it even more memorable and meaningful. Her journey to Paris took longer than her peers, but she...
  12. JTTA: Selection System to be Revamped for Paris 2024

Hayata’s T-League affiliation terminated (for now). “○ Cancellation of player registration As for Hayata Hina, she is currently concentrating on treating her injury and has no plans to play in the T League for the time being. In order to provide playing opportunities for young players, we have...
  13. 27th ITTF-Asian Table Tennis Championships 2024, Astana, 10/7-13

😆just watched the WT presentation ceremony. The Chinese women as they turned to step down, without exception, took off their silver medals before even leaving the podium. Is this the worst showing of CNT girls since the Moscow Debacle?
