Correct - better grip :) I feel like I have much more confidence in holding the racket when I have something at the end of the handle - I feel that with those the racket will not slip and not leave my hand A little lower weight balance is an additional bonus, but not main objective of that

I have similar experience with Yinhe Apollo 2.5/2.7. This was after very thin layer of Seamoon 2 on one layer of glue. I guess two thicker layers could easilly make a circle :P
