Needless to say, CNT caught on to Hayata's crossover issue. Could be a sequela from the injury.I'm watching Chen-Hayata - is it in my head or Chen sending the ball up the middle almost every single time?

Harimoto 4-1 Hayata (11, 2, 9, -7, 11)
Harimoto has gotten familiar with how to get around Hayata and to pull it off, by playing with a more spin-oriented and control game to disrupt Hayata's flow, like CXT and ZYL, with random flat hits mixed in, like Ito.
Another issue with Hayata (after months of observation) is that it seems like she has trouble making a proper stroke on shots close to her FH crossover (which are already difficult to return), especially those that require a quick transition between pronation and supination with the elbow bent at an acute angle.
