Admitting for the first time it was due to his broken racket (going back on his word and here), he thought about retiring after crashing out in R32 at Paris 2024. His loss to Benyamin Faraji was also due to the ball, table and that he was caught off-guard because it was his first match.

ITTF still disfavour cheaters.
Yes, ITTF does stay adamant about boosters. ITTF isn't gonna to relax the statutory restrictions as to the use of boosters, with the view to keep up its Olympic status unbroken in future.

This is so dumb, instead of banning it they should make it legal. Then it would be fair. This way some people boost and don't have consequences and others want to comply with rules.

As long as the boosters are not healthy concerning it should be allowed for everyone

As part of a transition that has been prepared over recent months, ITTF Group CEO Steve Dainton will move into the position of full-time World Table Tennis (WTT) CEO, effective 1 January 2026, and ITTF Secretary General Raul Calin has decided to leave the ITTF at the end of November 2025.
