Hey. Would appreciate some advice from those of you with experience being in the equipment jungle trying to find a good setup which at times feels impossible.

I use TB Alc with Stiga dna Hybrid hard and Dignics 09c.

It feels good but its just a bit too bouncy in serve returns etc. Its hard to place short balls so to speak.

How can i slow down this setup?

I mostly use butterfly and stiga rubbers.

I dont really want to change blade again.. too painful for the wallet and the brain tbh

Thanks for answering. How is zlf different?

What is zlf?
zylon without carbon if I remember correctly, same structure and handle as tb alc.
timo boll zlf feels softer, slightly slower and more controlled than tb alc, but still shares similar characteristics. its similar to hugo calderano hal, a viscaria blade with artificial fiber but without carbon. tb zlf is seriously spinny and easy to play with. great blade

zlf is a really good blade, similar to the blade i play Xiom HAL, but it's discontinued and they not made a replacement yet.
so i would try to stay with the blade and just use older generation rubber like xiom vega china or rakza Z extra hard. both are really dead in comparision to dignics 09c or stiga hybrid. but both feel a bit more chinese due to there stickiness and you need to like that.
the only modern rubber i know that feels pretty dead in short game, but fast in open game without being sticky is the new donic bluegrip j1.
