I wish you would find something better to do that you find more fulfilling than this critisism you are on about. You don’t even know him do you? At this point your comments are just taking up useful space shifting the focus away from the useful and informational comments.

I have been giving helpful information several times. Other people, with more resources, have been feeding a lot of helpful information.
What comes back is only one-liners and zero evidence of effort to actually appreciate or do something, anything, with this help.
Yet somehow, he's still asking for help?

I mean, you can go on and tell me I'm getting grumpy and critical because I am. Where you're going wrong is assuming there's nothing behind it.

This here sums it all up perfectly. You don't want to hear anything else, just the exact answer to the exact question you are asking.

The world is huge, things are infinitely more likely to be not what you think. And while you might get away with asking to be spoonfed for a couple more years, that will not last (well unless your name is Lance Stroll).

Go to every German Bundesliga club website, check the contact page and send them an email.
Heck, if you copy/paste the emails you can be done in half an hour.

I don’t know if this has been suggested to you, but why don’t you look up “table tennis school” in German or other languages? Of course Google won’t give you a good result if you’re asking it in English.

also - I suggested several times to stay in the US, play the tournaments there, get up the ranks and then, at the age of 17 or 18, go to Europe. but somehow, maybe because it doesn’t include Germany in the plan, he disregarded the best possible plan.

I think the tradition of tabletennis is pretty bad in the US compared to Sweden, Germany, France and asian countries. I do think the level of knowledge is much higher today since it seems like there is a lot of asian coaches living in the US.
The easiest and probably first step would be to get good coaching in the US.
I really think that it is great that you have ambitions but i can imagine your parents would be more supportive of moving abroad if you were the the top players in your age bracket. Great to follow your dreams but need to try to get better than top 100 in the US if this will be realistic. Important to also have good education.

Top 100 is not the kind of level people travel to other countries for. You should really be in the top 5, maybe top 10 and then looking for what might get you closer to #1 because if you are already 13, you are likely behind lots of younger players who are still going to get you your age and play better.

You have been asking some variation of this same question for almost a year now on the forum. If you have put in the work in reaching out to clubs and haven't figured out any sort of a plan yet (which it sounds like based on your posts) then you have an answer on how seriously the clubs are taking you which is not at all. If you haven't put in the work after a year of asking, then this is a waste of everyone's time.

Another thing to bear in mind is you won't be U13 for long. Once you're in the U18 category, there's plenty of 14-16 year olds who play at a Men's Singles Top 100 level. Most players never reach that kind of play level in their entire life including salaried professionals in China who play for the provincial teams AFAIK.

So, like I've said before; great achievement, beyond what most people are able to do, but probably not good enough.

I am confused why you think top 100 in the USA for the U13 category is a big achievement in the context of your goals. Maybe you can explain.

Last year you stated you would be 2100 by the end of 2025, and that you would be over 2250 by the end of this year (2026). We are almost halfway through 2026 and you are still sitting around 1950. Do you have any thoughts on the reasons why you didn't hit your end of year 2025 goal and don't seem on track to hit your end of year 2026 goal? Has missing those benchmarks made you reconsider the likelihood of your goal?

And nobody wants to hear about how you're beating X level in practice or your coach says you are X level. That does not matter here.

here’s one and i hope it helps:
in China, each age competes with each other. meaning if you are 13 years old, you will compete with 13 years old only, not 12, not 14

because the difference in level in each age group, they even check your bone sample to make sure you are not cheating

a 12 year old most likely cannot compete with older age group (except a really really good one)

top 100 in the US seems like a big achievement but it could mean a lot of ways. top 100, great, but are you ranked 99 or within top 5?

what is the level of your coach? is he still competing? has he been updated with the modern game? does he know any better coach? does he know any connection to the modern table tennis world? or is he retired and just want to make some quick bucks by doing the drills he picks up on the internet?

you’ve been asking the same questions after a year and it shows that you’re probably not serious enough to make it to the top 50 in the US

just ask yourself, are you gonna break 2500 in the next 3 years when you are 16? and how are you gonna do that, by wasting time and arguing with random people on the internet?

He is confident despite all evidence to the contrary and is unwilling to have a serious conversation around more reasonable goals to strive for. I will await his answer on whether he has started to reconsider his goals in the face of his relative lack of progress over the last year (~1875 to 1960 in the last 10-12 months if I'm remembering right).

It's more like this turned into some kind of Igor variety, but instead of spamming the same lame memes, it's the same questions over and over again.
My frustration is probably mostly rooted in falling for it over and over again because if this was an actual real situation, I would want an ambitious kid to get every possible chance and advantage that they can get.

Maybe it's time I reopened that block list for my own sanity.
