Noticed that Hashimoto and Diaz will play in WD (presumably for fun). Too bad that Hashimoto and Sato are not playing together.

What's up with the choppers not playing together anymore? Is it just because of Hashimoto "leaving" Mikihouse?
This is just my guess and it might be wrong:

Denso is paying the expenses for Hashimoto and Miki House is paying for the expenses for Odo, Yokoi, Sato, and Shibata. It's normal that Miki House wants Sato and Shibata to play together. If Shibata didn't participate in this tournament, then Hashimoto and Sato would have played together.

Amazing comeback by Cocona Muramatsu to beat Linda Bergstrom from down 0-2. She showed some real mental toughness to overcome Linda's 2 lucky edges and a lucky net in the decider. She advances in her group in the main draw to join all of qualifier compatriots (Shibata, Takeya, Sasao, Aoki, and Kimura). This young lady (just turned 14) is going to be one of Japan's top stars one day.

To be fair, Linda was eliminated once she lost a game. She played on with athletes pride.
