Except Spinsight isn't independent. It's made by ESN Digital, which is located at the exact same address as ESN the rubber company. It's also partnered with Andro.
But how can spinsight be set up to show different data based on the manufacturer?
It can't.
The app doesn't know what rubber is being tested.
So for the purpose of the results, Spinsight is independent.
Dan testing 10 different rubbers over 100 days on the same blade would be a completely fair and unbiased comparison.

Spinsight as a company is not independent, and that could be a factor holding back sponsored reviewers to make full comparisons.

Because come on, doing that is the first thing on almost everyone's mind - yet nobody actually does it?

It's not in the commercial interests of Dan, Spinsight, and brands that source their rubbers from ESN to compare themselves against one another that the OP is asking for in this thread. You need something like the Consumer Reports for that.

ESN has even stated their major competitors are those manufacturers in China and Japan.

Yes.
And someone will do it.
My point is that they could use Spinsight to do it. From that perspective, once an outside party has bought the app, then it's independent when someone is using it.
I wouldn't discount the idea that Dan could do it.
They already have a table and scoring system for rubbers.
Using spinsight doesn't definitively determine one rubber to be better than another. It would help put numbers on the differences though and thereby be useful for customers to help them choose what they actually want. Some people want less spin, more speed, others less spin more speed etc.
Anyway, it's a good idea and even if not done by TTD for the reasons yih have outlined I think others will have tables available to us pretty soon.

There is channel where guys measure it with spinsight .Intersting comparison Dignics 09C vs Donic BlueGrip C2 .Spin and speed are about the same. Is Butterfly only marketing?
I think measuring only maxed out spin+speed doesn't paint a good picture at all. When you put a high quality offensive rubber on the same blade and get used to it for a fair amount of time to feel all the nuances, they will all max out at rates within 5 rps from each other.
Where it gets interesting is how much spin you can put on a deceptively slow opening loop, a flip, a deep push, a serve, all elements where you won't bottom out a rubber 99% of the time. Gaining 5 rps on a scale of 50 rps is much more interesting than on a scale of 130 rps.
As for loops, you want to almost hit the spin peak of a rubber when you play at 80-85% so you stay in control while maximizing the potential. Not 95-100%

can you do it for us?
Check out this guys videos. So farz hes done zyre and t05 hard and follow ups after hours of play
