Hello Guys, the official andro webpage is updated with new info on the new gauzy vci : what do you think of it ? Maybe less head heavy and flexier compared to original VCI off ?

« The 0.2 mm thinner Ayous core veneer, combined with the inner Voltema-Carbon layer, ensures maximum ball feedback and a perceptibly longer dwell time. The soft Limba outer veneer enhances this feeling and supports secure openings, variable counter-topspins, and controlled blocks. The result is a perfect balance of spin, control, and speed—especially from mid-distance. » interesting…

Any opinions ? :)

If he's playing from mid distance, why would he voluntarily lower the core wood by 0.3mm?
The VCI already doesn't have an exaggerated catapult effect unlike W968.

I think he is used to all wood so he rather have a thin carbon blade to put is own power into the ball than a super fast one, plus i think he is probably playing with a 90/95 gram blade so (he used to play with a 100 gram all wood blade)

Is it released yet? By your estimate, would the signature version be easier or harder to transfer to from a wood blade? For the last year, I've switched back to all-wood, after sabotageing my development by opting for carbon way too early. For the moment, I switch between Xiom HAL and Nittaku Acoustic.

Just ordered mine from tabletennisstore.eu
I am currently using butterfly dima with D09c forehand and T05 backhand. I wonder if these rubbers go well with this Gauzy version blade? Looking forward to trying it out.
T05 sure, D09c might be OK but is generally harder to activate on a more flexible blade
