  1. Best footwear for a beginner.

Another suggestion: work more hours if you can or get another part time job for a week, it should get you plenty of money to get a good pair. Another option: cut your expenses until you save enough to get a pair. For example, food. If you are currently spending $5 per day on food, cut that down...
  2. Funny training method for behind the table looping

I think most decent players on this forum know what a loop is and how to hit one... Unless this is a joke, which in that case is rather funny.
  3. Lookimg for a new blade

These are good points. I agree that my post was not as carefully written as I had hoped. It was dangerous of me to use the springboard analogy to directly describe what is going on. I am not trying to accurately describe the real mechanics, what I meant to describe is what my personal "feeling"...
  4. Lookimg for a new blade

I said crazy fast top speed. This is due to the flex. Speed and dwell are not mutually exclusive. A flexy blade gives you high gears and high top speed while retaining the dwelly feel. Think "w968 style".Think of a diving board or other spring system. The more you compress and higher you jump...
  5. Lookimg for a new blade

Sanwei v5 pro has much more gears than PG7, with a crazy fast top speed. Still has good dwell and feel and moderate vibrations like pf7. Slow when you want it, fast when you want it, with a great arc either way.
  6. Any way to report spam/bot accounts?

Okay, I didn't know that you consider banning the account in report posts, I thought it was strictly for deleting the post itself. Sounds good.
  7. Any way to report spam/bot accounts?

Yes, I know that. I want to click on the user and report the user, not just the post.
  8. Any way to report spam/bot accounts?

I have come across a handful of spam/bot accounts that 1. create table tennis themed posts that make no sense 2. copy a random post elsewhere and insert it into a random thread (I have seen exact copy duplicate posts from two separate accounts on two separate threads) Is there a way to report...
  9. Best ping pong paddle for beginners

Eh, sort of, but that is a bit too simple. Control is not simply a direct inverse relationship to speed, there are several other factors. Good dwell or feel, high amount of "gears", and good ratio of speed to spin can give you good or bad control even on a "speedy" setup.
  10. Hybrid Rubber for BH

If you otherwise have no use for your razka, try boosting it. Seamoon is $20, you keep the topsheet of razka (assuming you like it), just gets faster and a little more spin (mostly faster though).
  11. My newly bought table tennis bat is too fast, what can I do?

I think the problem is technique. If the ball is going off the table, close your bat angle more, think about contacting the top instead of the back of the ball, and feel like you are catching the ball and throwing it forward, not just up (up is only for heavy backspin). This will give you more...
  12. First custom bat advice

I have used the Expert, which has a all blade with cj8000 (slow soft and tacky). I am not sure how much faster the legend blade is with the Hadou. Nevertheless, this is my recommendation. You can either bite the bullet for an inner or outer carbon, but if you want to play it safe, I would...
  13. Best footwear for a beginner.

Yeah, after checking the profile it does seem suspicious.
  14. Best footwear for a beginner.

You are not paying attention Carl. He asked a question: "has anyone faced (I assume he meant played) with Hoka". He did not recommend Hoka. To Patrick, no, don't use Hoka or any running shoe for table tennis or any court game with quick lateral movements. If you do, you will roll or sprain...
  15. First blade opinions

If you don't mind the 1 month wait, get $10-$20 palio premade bat from aliexpress. CJ8000 rubber for slow tacky, Hadou for faster tacky, and AK47 for faster grippy. Also comes with bat wallet, a ~$10 value! If you want to custom make, the Sanwei Fextra ($20) blade is great if you plan on...
  16. Tips for improving in table tennis

Get a table and good robot (Robopong or TenniRobo).
  17. Boosters for Chinese rubbers

And $80 Tenergy is theft. Rubber manufacturers use all sorts of chemicals to make rubbers, why can't I?
  18. Boosters for Chinese rubbers

Boosting stretches the topsheet, and eventually the topsheet will stretch out with time. Thus, no more doming, as doming is caused by expanded sponge vs tight unstretched topsheet) The sponge can expand more with extra boostings to re-tension the topsheet, but eventually reaches a saturation...
  19. Tips for improving

Sorry, I mixed up this thread with another one in my head and thought you already had H3. If you feel like you lack speed and spin with your current setup, you may benefit from an equipment change, but it may also very well be your technique too. It is just as important to name the blade you are...
  20. Blade for Stickey Chinese rubbers? (H3)

Did you even attempt to process my post? Or attempt to google "inner alc blades" or "what is an inner alc blade"?>inner alc (ex DHS Fang Bo). The composite layer is located next to the core. Google for an inner alc blade and you will see the side structure. More examples: DHS H301, DHS Long 5...
