  1. Lighter BH rubber for CPEN setup

The Pimplepark - Epos is really soft, light weight and tacky. It's available from 1.0-1.9mm. Or like others have suggested. 729 - Focus III Snipe, 729 - Phoenix Perhaps a softer rubber like Yinhe - Mercury III Euro or Yinhe - Mars III Euro could fit you. The 729 - Aurora Max Soft is more light...
  2. Cheapest but decent first defence setup

Why not go for a Haitian - AW-089 blade. All wood in 5 ply and fairly slow. 729 - Cross General is a cheap, grippy and not too fast rubber. Perfect for control and loop. A more light weight bouncy alternative is 729 - Aurora MAX. Giant Dragon - Submarine is a really nice def rubber. Tacky with...
  3. Difficulty in rubber gluing to blade

Well. I use a quite coarse sandpaper, but very lightly. Just so you feel that you get some impact enough to make the glue stick. I use to rub it a bit diagonally over the fibres.
  4. Difficulty in rubber gluing to blade

Sure. Use a coarser sandpaper and lightly scratch up the surface a bit. This will help the glue to stick better. I do it all the time, especially after sealing blades.
  5. Are players in Europe (US as well) interested in lesser-known Chinese rubbers?

Thank you :) I'm doing my best to keep good stuff in stock...
  6. Avoid tacky rubbers because they are dust magnets?

No problem at all. Sometimes I clean the rubber between sets as well, but mostly only between games. I need super grip :D
  7. Rubber advice needed

I have some playing partners that have transferred from Mark V GPS, Stiga Genesis and Gewo Proton for example, to Big Dipper 38/39deg on FH and they have stayed with this one for 3-4 years now, and they are not boosting.
  8. Rubber advice needed

Yeah. I'm using harder, tacky rubbers for backhand now as well. It was just a test I did this spring, and it feels pretty nice :)
  9. Rubber advice needed

My son played with Dignics 05 on BH for a year or two. At last he found it too bouncy and hard to control in the passive/short game. He tried Joola - Dynaryz Inferno and this one gave him more control and at least the same amount of spin and speed when needed. A couple of years later until...
  10. Inverted, Linear Rubber suggestions please.

Loki - Arthur China Xiom - TAU II Yinhe - Big Dipper Dianchi - D 729 - Battle Taichi
  11. Difference between various friendship battle versions

Battle 3 is the newest with a little more bounce, and a little less performance in the brush area. 38/39/40deg. Battle 2 series is descending in performance and price from Battle 2 National. 38/39/40deg Battle 2 Provincial. 38/39/40deg Battle 2 Gold. 40deg Battle 2 Silver. 38/39deg Battle Max...
  12. Weight limits on rackets?

    Why not minimum 180g? ;)
  13. What are some good 160mm Chinese blades?

I buy it from Yinhe. I have it here https://chtt.se/varumarken/yinhe/yinhestommar/yinhe-lq1
  14. What are some good 160mm Chinese blades?

Perhaps not. LQ1 was still in stock the last time I ordered, earlier this year.
  15. What are some good 160mm Chinese blades?

Haitian blades tend to be about 159mm, but I don't think the tiny millimeters could be an issue?
  16. What's wrong with my loop?

Well. Direction is similar all the time, but spin and length differs, and I thought it was a question about looping, and the best way to learn to loop is with slight backspin and if you get to perform the stroke on the third ball it's much better in my opinion.
  17. What's wrong with my loop?

It's much more natural in a way of playing a ball. Just try it yourself. And I don't think it's that hard to do a short backspin serve and loop it. It's just two strokes and you get a much more controlled and natural situation. Compared to having his friend serving the ball as he does in wide...
  18. What's wrong with my loop?

I was about to write what @Colestt just wrote :) It's much easier. More similar to a normal game play, and you're already in motion for the third ball.
  19. Blade & Rubber suggestion/recommendation - starting over

Yes, I absolutely would say that these rubbers are extremely spin sensitive with their tackiness and grip. And they demand a lot of power from your body and really good foot work. Like @boretennis says, the softer, not that extremely grippy rubbers would certainly fit you better, at least to...
