  1. Opinions on setup

The best is to stand up straight, relax, close eyes, rotate body to the left, and then to the right, and feel how this rotation "induces" movement of your arms (without using muscles in the arms). Someone posted video showing exactly this, but I can't find it. I searched but didn't find. Some...
  2. Opinions on setup

Good question, try search for "weight transfer", "power from the ground", "kinetic chain". It's been discussed many times, not as many times as boosting H3, but still people may be reluctant in repeating it... It may actually be better to have rubber which is not easier, in the sense of...
  3. Is there a subjectively perfect weight to every blade?

Thanks a lot Sergio, for the explanation. It makes it clearer for me. Yes, I mean the medial layer, I remember you said once you used very dense ayous for the medial layer, almost as dense as limba. But I can't find the message/mail now. Now I think I'll stay with the AC#, so that the whole...
  4. Fastarc G1 or Glayzer 09c?

That's good, if you liked D09C, you will like G09C. Really I only felt the difference when I really focused in full hits, on the ball speed. On D09C was faster. But on my level, it doesn't matter, well, not that it doesn't matter, it is so that other things matter more. Enjoy the H3 BS H39 too...
  5. Fastarc G1 or Glayzer 09c?

It's hard to predict whether you'll like the G09C. What H3N hardness do you use? Yesterday I tried to compare the rubbers again, the G09C (with Glayzer on one low quality blade), D09C (with Glayzer on my Viscaria) and old G1 (with old Rozena on yet another blade), and H3N H41 (with Glayzer on...
  6. Fastarc G1 or Glayzer 09c?

Thanks for asking, my view is that it is largely personal preference. One will prefer the 1st, other one will prefer the 2nd. However, I do enjoy reading posts, where people here compare 2 or 3 rubbers, especially if they do it repeatedly, because then I can sort of relate and derive what I...
  7. Fastarc G1 or Glayzer 09c?

Fine with me. Then just please rename the thread from: Fastarc G1 or Glayzer 09c? to: Fastarc G1 and Glayzer 09c! EDIT: And of course, post the 1st hand comparison ;-)
  8. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

@dingyibvs out of curiosity, what are the weights of those setups, and blades?
  9. Is there a subjectively perfect weight to every blade?

Dear @SDC, I can't resist asking following two questions. I know it is taking time, but I think other people will also enjoy your answer. My next blade will be very very similar to the current one, I want the same composition, same woods, i.e Limba, Ayous, Fiber, Ayous (core). And the same size...
  10. About boosting

Don't worry, it can be worse... Give it 3 days then glue it...
  11. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Yesterday I had a 1st training with the H3N. The setup is 199g, with R9 H40,5 it was 192g, but it's not so that the H3N is 7g heavier, it's perhaps 3-4g heavier, because R9 was re-glued 2 times, and thus stretched and cut and thus made lighter. Also I applied glue generously for the H3N. But it...
  12. Hurricane Neo blue sponge provincial v national and 2.1 v 2.15

Wouldn't it be good if @Tony's Table Tennis would chime in and tell from 1st hand exp. too...
  13. Hurricane Neo blue sponge provincial v national and 2.1 v 2.15

Now how bout a June 2026 visit to Germany, @longle PLEEEAAASE!
  14. Hurricane Neo blue sponge provincial v national and 2.1 v 2.15

Ahhh, yes, I see, that is why I am still losing some matches...
  15. Hurricane Neo blue sponge provincial v national and 2.1 v 2.15

    Prov (2 corners cut) H3N BS 2.15 H41.
  16. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

H3N Prov BS 2.15 H41 - one layer is all I need/want. My last Rxton 9 is properly spent - it's a nice feeling to know and be convinced that I deserve a new rubber ;-))... Next week will start using the H3 and will compare. The thing is the R9 is after 2nd re-glue, and each re-glue stretches it a...
  17. Why are dignics09C considered not suitable for beginners/intermediate players ?

I'd not recommend NH3 to new players, there are situations where I'd recommend H3-like rubber, but not to a new player. Yes, D09C is not very fast in strokes where you don't invest much power, and that is actually a good thing for developing player. The sponge is good, but I'd have to spend a...
  18. WTT Finals Hong Kong 2025, 12/10-14

That's insane. Incredible. Final in the 1st match.
  19. Xiom Vega Korea Review

My setup is now 192g, but sometimes it's more like 197, sometimes even slightly over 200g. I remember in some video ZJK said setup really should be like 214g, or 210-220g range, LOL. All is relative...
  20. Is there a subjectively perfect weight to every blade?

A thread where we could ask @SDC questions and not pollute his thread, is a good idea... EDIT: Well, perhaps not.... If he answers, we'll have to wait more for the blades ;-) EDIT2: F... tradeoffs... Can't we do without tradeoffs?
