Both matter to some extent. I can see that some people may feel the blade matters more and others feel the rubbers matter more. But often, if you are using something and take the time to get used to it, whatever the equipment, you will learn how to grove your game with whatever you are using...

But in the context of using a setup that HAS GOOD FEELING, the issue is not how you touch the ball but how the equipment FEELS. Just think about the context and the difference between talking about a player's feeling for the game and how that is different from how a setup feels.

I would call what you are talking about touch. But yeah. Being in sync with how you touch the ball (having feeling for the game on a given day) is important at any level. But when someone is talking about how the setup they are using feels, or whether the setup has good feeling, I don't think...

Feel is important when you are learning how to touch the ball and are just developing those skills of learning how to make deep or thin to contact on different kinds of shots and when to use each. When you are skilled and know how to do that, and have a sense for when different touch is going...

Based on what you wrote about how you play, have you ever considered using Long Pips on BH? It might be worth trying to see how you play with it once you get used to it. Based on your shot selection, having one side with LP might be really good for how you are already playing. It would not...
