  1. I messed up!

Is the rubber too damaged to use? Now covered in little holes where the glue has pulled the sponge off
  2. I messed up!

yeh tried gluing it on but it was clearly raised in places from the glue - nothing to do with air bubbles. When trying to remove it’s just taking pieces of the sponge with it. Fear the rubber is done
  3. I messed up!

Gluing my first blade - watching all the tutorials and it’s going fine. Go to stick my rubber down and fuck up the placement, then I try pull it off and the glue is all uneven and pulled up. Can’t get all of the glue of evenly. I’ve tried rubbing but won’t work - tried applying another thin...
  4. San Francisco looking for training partner.

Loosely related question - trying hurricane 3 neo tomorrow. If I hate it can I take it off and “store” it for another time when I perhaps feel like trying it again or maybe have moved on to a quicker blade. Will this damage the rubber at all?
  5. How do you preserve tackiness in Hurricane 3?

    Did it work
  6. What to expect!

Order a sheet of Hurricane 3 Neo Commercial Orange sponge 38 degrees 2.1mm. What should I expect coming from the position of only ever used European rubbers. My technique is orthodox but will I be hindered by my European style - or will I be able to adapt?
  7. ARE vs YSE

Hey, I currently play with Stiga All-round Evolution (ARE). This blade is absolutely fine and has seen me progress from a beginner to a player with a now defined style of a two winged looper. Logically I have no reason to change my blade. Played with it for about a year and a half and know it...
  8. Changing rubbers to change technique.

Sounds like your problem has more to do with your movement then your rubber. You've already said that the lazy shots are the problem so just try and get these shots out of your game and you won't have to change rubber.
  9. Next Steps with TT equipment

I’ve been playing table tennis like an addict for about a year now (played a little when I was a kid as both my uncle and dad play at a high level). I’ve been using the Stiga classic evolution for most of this time as it seemed like the right blade to develop my technique with and I don’t really...
  10. Advice please: 7-ply all-wood blade for my son

I doubt the handle will be big enough on the Korbel. I played with the 5-ply anatomic and that was a good fit for me and my hands are relatively small.
  11. Allround classic vs Allround Evolution

I’m an advanced beginner trying to move away from 5-ply Korbel to something more controlled and forgiving to help perfect my technique. What’s considered the better blade the stiga allround classic or the stiga allround evolution. I appreciate they’re pretty similar
  12. Advice to improve my game.

Try putting your right foot back when playing a forehand, you need to be side on when playing a forehand as most of the power comes from rotating your body. Not your arm.
  13. HELP!

Hi all, I played table tennis on and off in my early teens but never committed to it. I'm 18 and I started playing again early last year and have fallen in love. I currently play with a petr Korbel allwood off; I don't have any particular issues with the blade but as its the first blade I've...
