I have played the viscaria, the viscaria SALC, the TB ALC, and the FZD ALC. All the flared handles are slightly different in shape

If you want something in between you might want to consider the Fan Zhendong ALC. I just got that blade and it has a crisper contact and slightly more speed than TB ALC or Viscaria but still has great control.

I have both blades and I would definitely say that the SALC is noticeably faster than the Timo Boll ALC. I would say the contact is much crisper on the SALC and to me felt like there was less dwell time on the SALC. Contact felt great but the speed was just too much for me.

This may be a silly question but I've never played with pips before and would like to try chopping with long pips. I have many blades but they are all carbon offensive blades. I would prefer not to buy a new blade for the long pips as it's just experimental. Is chopping with long pips doable...

I use Dignics 09C with my Zhang Jike SZLC and find that to be a nice combination.

I don't have the AZXi, but I have the AZX and the Viscaria. I can say from my experience, the AZX is much faster than my Viscaria. The AZX is fun to play with bc of the speed and directness, but it's also much harder to keep it on the table.

I just put Tenergy 19 on my Viscaria. I have to say, I was not impressed. It seems like if you want more dwell time and touch for shorter pushes, etc, then why not use Dignics 09C. If you want faster attacking, more direct, go with Tenergy 05. I found Tenergy 19 to be something in between...
