  1. WTT Star Contender Chennai-2025

In KNY, Korea has a player that can beat Miu, Odo, and arguably Mima, and can give Miwa a run for her money. I believe once Joo Cheonhui is fully integrated into the team, and Shintong develops her capabilities, they would threaten Japan. They still need one more player to step up though.
  2. WTT Star Contender Chennai-2025

There's no need to hone into that tbh. They're a work-in-progress and things are getting better. China was once at this stage not too long ago ( maybe no bird droppings but overall quality of events/life).
  3. WTT Star Contender Chennai-2025

The issue isn't whether a system is centralized or not. Chinese or NKorean Centralization is not a doomed or inhumane project apriori. In fact, any sport organ or parastatal working under a federal/central government is already centralised. The very existence of bossess, HODs, and hierarchy is...
  4. WTT Star Contender Chennai-2025

Feng yi-hsin was amazing. Congratulations to him He beat my guy, but he did it brilliantly.
  5. WTT Star Contender Chennai-2025

Man that's sumthin serious I thought it was the glare from the central lights or some reflection coming from the crowds. Is the stadium an open one?
  6. ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025, 4/14-20

In the male section, definitely. In the female section, someone has to stop Shasha
  7. French NTTC-2025 (Championnat de France de tennis de table)

Now this is taking it too far. Somber and seemingly sincere apology from him though, and he's missing two major tournaments to boot. Let's hope he re-emerges as a different person at the WTTC.
  8. JTTA Selection Trial for ATTC 2026 and WTTC Continental Stage 2027, 5/26-27

Shouldn't she be peaking at the WTTC in late May? Unless she's resigned to losing to either SYS/WMY which would cast a long pall on Japanese TT itself. Or she probably just thinks it's best to always try to cash in on big tourneys that the Chinese are not playing. It's also a huge confidence...
  9. JTTA Selection Trial for ATTC 2026 and WTTC Continental Stage 2027, 5/26-27

I'm sure he's still very motivated to win. If China locks him out of the top 2 in the Olympics in 2028 and 2032, then maybe this would matter. Probably nothing more than a glorious investment from Toyota.
  10. French NTTC-2025 (Championnat de France de tennis de table)

Who's that powerful enough to call and effect such a drastic change in things despite unanimous agreement among the team members? Must be a godfather sort of person. Color me surprised that despite the veneer of independence, things like this still happen.
  11. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Cool story Hari bro 2-11 tells a different story unfortunately.
  12. If you are the CNT boss, what would you do?

I don't know man, I don't dispute other parts of what you said, but I've never felt like Shasha carried WCQ in mixed doubles I'd be honest. He may not have been in his top form but that doesn't mean he was carried. I didn't see Shasha finishing points and telling WCQ to put the ball on the table.
  13. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

WCQ would be 27 this year Who knows what the future holds.
  14. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Outlasting opponents also highly depends on form and fitness, unless FZD was on Creatinine or gear. But I get your point though. We'd see how things go. WCQ may not end up being a GrandSlam Champion but he should have a lot in store when he draws the curtain on his career. Now that I think of...
  15. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Interesting that WCQ usually only plays like this against righties btw, against lefties it's usually a BH Vs BH slugfest with the occasional all out forehand rallies. I think he's developed a style that just completely overwhelms right-handers when he's playing well.
  16. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Wang Liqin and Ma Lin also had subpar backhands. Wang Hao was the one with the good backhand . I'm not confusing cause and effect.
  17. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

People, Me included, said the same about FZD's lack of versatility and trying to outrally everyone's style but look how his career panned out. In the best way. WCQ doesn't just outpower everyone, I don't really think he's even as powerful as Ma Long, FZD or Hugo, He's also scrawny. I think it's...
  18. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Waldner, LGL, WLQ, ML, even WH laughing at this opinion tbh
  19. If you are the CNT boss, what would you do?

WCQ, LSD, LJK, HYZ(when he matures more) + another youngster can still lead China to win everything or almost everything for the next 5-10 years if the coaching team optimises everyone's conditions well. Now, that'd be a nightmare for those who think with ML&FZD out, there'd be a huge gulf in...
