  1. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Ryu footwork overrated because he beat top three Chinese. Most of the top guys on the Chinese national team have had amazing footwork for days.
  2. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

This is the point that the naysayers ignore Despite WCQ supposed advantage he wins only 6/10 of his serves, there's been matches where Truls and Harimoto didn't score more than 3/10 on their own serves Vs WCQ. This lends more credence to the fact that he's actually a better receiver and 1st 3-5...
  3. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

30% advantage is a huge stretch. Harimoto never struggled with the serves both on the Chiquita and when pushing short/long, but got clobbered.
  4. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

You really can't say that, Metaxa thinks it's the head and 20 cm advantage bro. Other things don't count.
  5. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Alexis is on Tomo's level? He may be the European Champion, but he's on the same level internationally with Tomo, LYJ, even Felix.
  6. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

I don't disagree. I was trying to point out the cognitive dissonance of those that believe it's WCQ's head behind all the wins.
  7. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Truls didn't even win up to 30% of his serves, must be due to Chuqin's big head.
  8. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

He needs a different level or should I say flavour to his game that is not fast, furious, score".
  9. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

Lying low or not playing at their best ? Either way, LGL would not forget to put Miu Miwa Hina front and center of the posters next month.
  10. ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025, 4/14-20

How many majors do comparable sports have in contrast to what the WTT is doing now though?
  11. ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025, 4/14-20

Thank you very much, It's what I thought too.
  12. What non Chinese player has the best chance to win the men’s singles chongqing champions event (2025)

He beat LSD 4-0 in Montpellier last year. He has no wins against WCQ, I'm not sure he's beaten LJK.
  13. WTT Champions Chongqing 2025 - 11-16 Mar 2025

"When he is down, he can be beaten by anyone". That's funny The guys that beat are guys in the top 20-30
  14. What non Chinese player has the best chance to win the men’s singles chongqing champions event (2025)

Harimoto is the one with wins against WCQ, LSD and LJK He's still the top threat until proven otherwise.
  15. ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025, 4/14-20

I feel like World Cup was traditionally held in the 2nd half of the year except on a few occasions, before WTT took over, just before the WTGF.
  16. ITTF Men's and Women's World Cup Macao 2025, 4/14-20

I'm curious if FZD and the other retired Olympic champions are gonna play. If they're not, the men's event should be exciting cos we will have a new champion.
  17. WTT Champions Incheon 2025 - 1-6 Apr 2025

Apparently the Chinese top 4 ( male & female) are not playing in this tournament? Wouldn't that be automatic zpps for them, I'm not sure how this works Taking a lengthy break to prepare for the WTTC in May?
  18. Run-in between Moregard and SBTF?

Lol the Swedish TTA association doing a little "authoritarianism" was not on my cards.
  19. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

I wish it was that easy.
  20. Ryu Seungmin: Korea's Women's Team Can Threaten Japan

Going by his words, he's doing this for Korean Table Tennis. But given recurrent history of Korean stalwarts taking this step in the twilight of their career, I don't think this is a decision that he made solely cos I'm sure there's still a lot of money to be made representing Korea. There must...
