As someone who’s tried really hard to get a Japanese T league subscription and who also watched German league.. I think making the platform a worldwide league streaming platform is great, kinda just tacks MLTT onto it in a way… they need more leagues tho before it’s worth it…

I mean it’s fine if they’re still dominant. Just a 60-80% dominance is much more fun and interesting than a 95% dominance. People love a good upset.

Seems there is a mental barrier being broken. Like when someone sets a new sports record previously deemed impossible then multiple people get it soon after. There’s a name for the phenomena but I can’t remember.

Portland was packed last season which is why they made it the season opener this time and while it wasn’t as packed it was still a good turn out, even if it didn’t look as impressive as the first season, but it was a bigger venue nah pretty sure they’re working on making them available online...

I’ll admit Lillieroos hasn’t been the greatest at GG lineups but he can probably claim the best draft between Nordberg, Lundqvist, and Omoda, they’ve all delivered superbly. Haochen Wang could also be a beast I think he just need to get used to the format.

Anyone got any insight on why there was absolutely no crowd in Chicago this weekend? Wth? Isn’t Chicago a huge TT city? Like did the league really drop the ball on advertising or was there some other event that weekend or what? Can’t wrap my head around there only being like 2 dozen spectators...

To be fair she’s only played twice against women, her loss against Cazzacu doesn’t count for her record imo, give her some time to warm up. Wengshen Wei didn’t do too well the first weekend and she did great this weekend! Honestly they should force a women vs women singles for every match..

Interesting! Yeah TT has so much going on with all the big WTT events and leagues I’m sure it’s hard to find a longer uninterrupted time.. What you said about the amount of matches reminds me that for MLTT I heard the CEO saying they’re already looking into expanding into more teams for season...

Haocheng Wang is also a beast waiting to be unleashed! Kumar has his moments but is a bit unreliable.. Kotomi has potential to beat all other women in the league imo but obvi Lily Zhang is probably the favorite in that match up.

Unfortunately i agree, I was thinking the exact same thing.. why not the hometown hero Jiwei?? Why not the Chinese hidden beast Haochen Wang? Instead the chopper? Don’t choppers usually need time to get into a good rhythm? His 4 point loss definitely swayed the momentum in Princeton’s favor ugh.
