You see the current score, but no way to find out what happened in earlier matches. They also seem to be missing a few camera angles. Very frustrating. Not great for a paid service.

No scores posted yet that I can see, and the match is already over.
Choose the 2nd "Oregon Convention Center" (3rd to last on the dropdown) as the Event, then the LA vs Portland match (the last one on that dropdown).
There will be another match weekend at the same venue in January, involving those same 2 teams (along with Texas and Atlanta), making things confusing on that page.

the website is not user friendly to check scores.
it would be easier if they just put it by match dates, not by "venue name"

LA gets its first win of the season coming from behind in the golden game against Chicago, with Mati Ekholm winning 3 of the last 4 points against Mo Zhang. They just barely prevented an ultimate golden point between Pistej and Gardos.
They were down something like 5-14, won 7 of the next 8 points, fell behind again 14-18, then Marcos Madrid won 4 in row to tie it up, and Matilda finished it.

Was at the Portland vs LA game and Portland vs Chicago game this weekend in Portland and mannnn MLTT skill level literally jumps up a tier every season! Great play, unbelievable rallies! Kotomi Omoda is Portland’s superstar sweetheart lol I see she also joined the French Pro A league this year..

IMO the tabletennis.tv thing is a great idea BUT I think they’re implementing it way too prematurely. They should have had at least 3-4 leagues already on it like the Japanese T league along with German and US leagues, and they should have done a free service of it for like 6 months or something to really get people used to it. $10 a month for TT games in this economy really hurts, especially when there is millions of hours of free TT on YouTube!

I wish the best for MLTT and hope it continues to improve, idk about TTTV…

In business, you learn pretty quickly that it is better to make mistakes and fix them than to time things perfectly. Because even the most perfect intentions can become mistakes with planning. They can always sign on more leagues latter, rebrand and reprice. But if they don't launch now, they learn nothing.

Thinking as a businessman, not as someone sympathetic to the price points of the consumer...

I suspect that in a short while, they will try to contract with Japanese leagues, Chinese leagues and WTT and then you will need VPN to watch TT from the USA. And then they will lobby to see how much they can get from youtube to restrict VPNs further. Business can be a dirty game, but it will be pushed with a veneer of consumer friendliness and providing more options to the consumer to watch TT...

MLTT has it ass backwards.

NBC has some NFL games exclusively on Peacock because NBC feels there is a big enough NFL fan base to force fans to buy Peacock (or for some to seek out pirate streams)

MLTT live youtube streams had a few hundred viewers, if you convert 10% of them, you get a few hundred $$ in revenue. That doesn't pay the web hosting bill.

Meanwhile, for people who don't want to pay for yet another streaming service, MLTT is forgotten. It would be interesting to hear the reasoning behind the move to pay streaming.

Cheapest plans per month for comparison:

Peacock $7.99 (NFL + NBA + Premiere League)
Netflix $7.99
Disney+ $9.99
HBO Max $9.99

NBA League Pass $16.99
ESPN+ $11.99 for La Liga - Barcelona and Real Madrid, Bundesliga

MLTT is overpriced. It would be more attractive to consumers as a part of a package like ESPN+ or a $3 to $5 add on to Amazon Prime

You might be right but Flint is an accomplished businessman. He won't be averse to learning and adapting.

Portland looking good with a 15-6 win over Chicago
We'll see whether they can keep it up throughout the season, especially when they don't have all of their best players available, a problem they had the last 2 seasons.
They followed it up with a thrashing of Carolina today

What is interesting is that there is no video from the Fan-Aguirre match on tabletennis.tv. I wonder why....
I believe Tt.tv only have the rights for Kanak Jha and Dima teams only. If you want all the teams you have to subscribe to Dyn (whether you need a VPN to watch outside of Germany is another story)

They had some past Saarbrucken matches, I don't think they played Fulda or Dusseldorf but maybe I missed that detail.

Pushing MLTT and pushing TT.TV should be separate agendas. You have MLTT tag along with a strong TT.TV package or grow the MLTT viewership and then go into paid services.
Trying to do both with both on the weak side (and so early) probably gave too much credibility to table tennis viewers.

And wow
Where did the overpriced logic comes from? Maybe too many ej in USA and the view of rich audiences?
