  1. Flared(FL) or Straight(ST)?

Thanks, I saw once second-hand blade like that, but thought it is actually ST and maybe only looked strange because of camera angle. Now I think it may be just conical continuously getting wider.
  2. Flared(FL) or Straight(ST)?

By this CO I guess you mean AN (anatomical) handle? it is normally more bulky than FL in the upper part, I have Andro Treiber with that handle and it is great. In the past for most EU manufacturers like Andro, Donic it was possible to get AN version and sadly never for Asian ones (except maybe...
  3. Rubbers for children at school

For cheap, usable and not really difficult to use rubbers I would go with either: Sanwei T-88 III Reactor Tornado V5 They are not really sticky - they appear to have some more tack than ESN, but plays not that different.
  4. Most consistent BH rubber for opening up the game

Do you see any difference between Loki Telson 100 and Loki Telson Germany? Not sure if there is any real or jsut a marketing trick. On the cover there are minimal differences in parameters Loki provides, but I am a bit skeptical. I played only with Germany (one of best BH rubbers for me) while...
  5. New Blade: Tibhar Darko Infinity Carbon

This looks really reasonable for me structure-wise. No idea however about Gewo handles, never had in hand any of their blades. Can anyone compare their FL or ST shape with some more popular brands (Donic, Andro, Bty)?
  6. Post your latest EJ purchase

Hopefully it helps you improve your serves. For me it was a game-changer and really helped me to see the amount of spin I create. I got same-sized one (8 rubber fields) from aliexpress for similar price you paid.
  7. sanwei rubber cutter without press

The cutter blade is 19mm, so with rubber of max 4mm (as we all follow rules  ) the press must be able to fit 23mm of maximal width. I think it just depends on the bolt length.
  8. sanwei rubber cutter without press

Well thanks for the idea, because I felt like an idiot after reading that 😅 ("why I haven't thought about it?!". I own this basic aliexpress cutter and until now I used the rolling pin which worked, but was not perfect. As it has to be done rubber-up it caused rubber to detach on the edges...
  9. Blades with two sides?

As a reference link to thread about two asymetrical blades from Gewo: link I bought recently the Yinhe Pro 11S and while it plays great, the ST handle is awfully round (for me). Normally thick FL handles of Yinhe are best for me, byt this model has thin FL so I took risk woth ST and it is not...
  10. Is there a Donic Anders Lind blade review?

Same here, in general ST handles of Donic blades from recent years are perfect shape in my opinion (previously had Donic original True Carbon Inner)
  11. Which Sanwei 3-star balls are the best

I see sometimes mentioned that cheap Sanwei 3-star balls are reasonably good for training purposes. However, I see often on aliexpress three types with similar price - gold, blue and red markers. Are there any difference between them or rather just same piece of plastic with different labels...
  12. YouTube Channel Update, New Videos!

It is always interesting to look at some matches happening at the level what is not out of reach for us, mere mortals after watching WTT Tour :)
  13. Reverse Pendulum Serve spin explained

Your video on hook serve variations was really good so looking forward for this one!
  14. Cleanest serves in Table Tennis - Benedikt Duda

For sure the contact point is always visible for his serves, but verticality of his tomahawk serve is not so great. However, players rarely complain about verticality of opponent toss, the contact point is apparently only thing they care (unless they want to play mind games or get opponent TTRed)
  15. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Wow this is really interesting composition of layers, thanks for spotting it. Gewo still need to work on their marketing. Also looks like there is not many places where you can get it.
  16. Sanwei or Yinhe: Which one is the better budget brand?

Ok good to learn this Pro 11S is on the thinner side, it looked really interesting for me. If it had limba on the FH it would be a no brainer. With spruce I am not so sure, never played with such outer ply. Thanks for elaborating on the handle though.
  17. Sanwei or Yinhe: Which one is the better budget brand?

For me Yinhe FL handles (N10, Uranus U2, Pro 03/05) are the best blade handles I had, fits perfectly in my hand. Feel kind of bulky. I don't like thinner FL handles like Yasaka, Stuor, Sanwei - there I would have to go with ST handle.
  18. Most consistent BH rubber for opening up the game

For BH with good control and reasonable spin: Double Fish Volant Phoenix 2 Loki Telson Germany
  19. Does anyone buy balls from Ali Express?

I have bought these Huieson balls year ago for robot training. They seem decent enough, at least got shoot properly by the simple joola V300 robot (what is not always the case for crappy balls). Afer time I see the only thing is their color is less white and little yellow now even they stored in...
  20. Why doesn't Nittaku fastarc G-1 spin as much as my soft tensor rubber can?

Rakza 7 is apparently quite popular for coaching and it looks like a safe bet. Two teenagers from my training group enrolled into real club recently (to the reserves actually, but still in lowest of pro leagues). They got recommended some some 7 ply all wood with Rakza 7. They are visiting on...
