  1. Which Fundamentals to prioritize?

It can also be you start playing in a higher league, and the ranking won't go up, or slow down, or go down, for a while, even though you are still improving. Like you are biting, but not getting over the threshold, for the whole season... Regarding motivation, yes, beating players is good, but...
  2. (Humour) New US rubbers

Big congrats to our US brothers... I hope the sweep continues over EU too...
  3. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Slightly boosted my rubbers for the 2nd half of the 1st half of the season ;-). Such delight to play with - the little extra tension on Rxton 9.
  4. Counterloop practice

No drill is a waste of time... Continue, have fun... Get lower, I mean wider, you'll adapt to incoming ball position better, and the stroke will be different/better... Don't hold balls in the non-playing hand, at least initially... Try to make quality ball, I'm sure you recognize how that feels...
  5. Non boosted Hurricane 3

You play with H3 Neo on both sides and you ask this??? Why??? Sorry, I want to understand ;-)
  6. Doinc C2 or Xiom C55

;-) I don't want to discourage you... Other people, IIRC @vvk1, didn't report so dramatically ;-) But the Rxton9 I play since (also 5 weeks) really looks comparatively like new...
  7. Doinc C2 or Xiom C55

Well, I've only used 1 sheet, could have been the sheet... https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/xiom-c55-impressions-and-comparison-with-h3n.34868/page-9#post-481959
  8. Doinc C2 or Xiom C55

Yes, response in different strengths... E.g. for me the H3 prov., C55 and Rxton9 give similar sponge response. Their top-sheets differs a bit, the Rxton9 is the most tacky, and I'd say this feeling of wrapping the ball is the strongest with Rxton9, of the three. But all are close to each other...
  9. Doinc C2 or Xiom C55

It's been a long time since I played with C2, I think like 3 years. What I remember, and my oppinion is that both are good rubbers, rel. close to each other (because of the sponge hard-ness), but the C55 is response-feelings-wise closer to H3 like rubbers, I mean the sponge response (not the...
  10. Why the end of China dominance would benefit to Global Table Tennis

I think it is very clear that China dominance does improve global TT, that is simply happening. Whether the end of the dominance will improve global TT, well, remains to be seen if it happens... It's like when in your team there is 1 dominant player - he gives chance to the others to improve to...
  11. How to stop 3rd ball loop attack?

I'd say don't give on flicking yet, just try avoid pushing for the moment. Sometimes the flick can be slow (more like an empty ball, like you don't add that much spin, like "half" flick, pros would likely not do it ;-) ), and the opponent still can't do that much with it. Continue practicing it...
  12. How low is your stance (for loops etc)

Imagine that FZD who is not very tall, when simple FH to FH looping, his right knee angle is almost 90 degrees. If we (I'm 6'5 too) do this, we are still higher than him ;-) I'm not saying we must look exactly as pros, or that we should go even lower than him to be as low vs table, I'm more...
  13. Drills VS In Game

Don't worry about it that much, simply do it if it works for you. For me it helps if I know as soon as possible what the opponent intends to do with my serve... In the rally it's a bit different situation than right after the serve... Anyway, I don't think it is stopping you, just continue...
  14. SDC Handmade Blades

Yes, maybe it will work, but it's hard to predict... As I wrote, I actually think you should let us compete for your time with money, up to some limit, let's say up to 100% of the average price. Let's say the average is 100 Euro, then we can compete up to 100 Euro, buying time essentially. Yes...
  15. SDC Handmade Blades

As you write, the motivation is not to maximize the monetization, but rather to solve the issue with the "expected time of delivery", essentially replace the "expected time", which is not working properly, with number in the line, which customers then can see and check, and calculate rough...
  16. Drills VS In Game

I mean when I hit the ball actually with the blade. My formulation was not good. Btw. I just returned from a match, it went 9:9, did 3W1L, tomorrow another match, but this time after driving 500km in the morning, I'm really curious how will I feel and play ;-) Cheers... Fight ;-)
  17. WTT CHAMPIONS MONTPELLIER

    Duda, come on, 1 more!
  18. Drills VS In Game

Yes, I agree. In my case getting to neutral (which involves small step back with both feet) was kind of automatic. But not watching the serve after the 1st bounce (or perhaps only incidentally), and instead focusing on the opponent gives me some extra precious time. Cheers.
  19. Drills VS In Game

Related to this is a mistake I sometimes do - when I serve, I watch "how the serve went", instead of watching what the opponent prepares to do... I guess this watching of the serve mistake is overtaken from the serve practice, but in the match it is not good, as soon as I hit the ball, I must...
  20. WTT CHAMPIONS MONTPELLIER

I try not to look at it from the technical standpoint, where the fix would be to show threads which you've posted into, even if they are from an ignored member. I will then start to think how to have the proper DB table structure, and if I can optimize even that 1 extra SQL select away ;-) From...
