  1. Kindly suggest best blade for Wheelchair Para Table Tennis player

I don't think this is SJan. I could be wrong. But I don't think it is. @\_Kairos_/ : I explained to you why I don't think that. Sure SJan picked this up on his site. But that may be because he saw this post I am quoting before I edited something out of the post.
  2. Want to correct my blade : please give your thoughts

Latej is correct. You are knowingly breaking forum rules. The two threads are merged now. So, now there is only one thread. And now it is more clear since the Initial Post of each thread both appear and it is easy to see that you asked the same thing two times on the same day. And you...
  3. Can anyone talk me either into buying this or leave it alone

As I see it, there is not a whole lot of craftsmanship behind making a One Ply blade. There are no layers to laminate. There is no question about what kind of glue was used to laminate. All it is, is a slab of wood with a handle on added to it. Lower quality wood might not play as well...
  4. Can anyone talk me either into buying this or leave it alone

BTW: to me, nothing feels as good as a good One Ply Hinoki blade. I would not use one for match play or as my main blade for a variety of reasons. But nothing feels as good. They are pretty amazing.
  5. Can anyone talk me either into buying this or leave it alone

Not a bad analogy. Hinoki with Zylon (no carbon) is interesting. There was a blade Butterfly made maybe 15-16 years ago called Photino; it was Hinoki on the top ply a thick 1.4mm top ply with Zylon (no carbon) under it and that was a very interesting blade. But that is the only Hinoki...
  6. Can anyone talk me either into buying this or leave it alone

In my experience, Hinoki feels best when it is in a blade that is ALL Hinoki whether that is a 1 ply, 3 ply, 5 ply or 7 ply. One ply feels better than the others. But you still get the Hinoki feel. When it is paired with other things, the Hinoki feel is muted by the other things. When you...
  7. Need advice for blade and defense

I find this a very interesting statement.
  8. Need advice for blade and defense

This is an excellent post and seems to cover a lot of the information you need.
  9. What's wrong with my loop?

If any of you did not know, colestt is the person from colestt.com which is a good site for anyone in the USA who wants TT equipment for a pretty inexpensive price.
  10. What's wrong with my loop?

No real need for the back and forth after these two comments. Both have a point. It will be good for OP to work on basic strokes. If he is going to work on looping backspin, I think Cole is right here. And we do learn lots of skills simultaneously in TT. And it is hard to stop someone...
  11. What's wrong with my loop?

Without a robot, one way to get some of the repetitions would be self hitting. Like in this video: Please note: 1) I am all the way on the BH side of the table and my body is not fully behind the end line, my left foot is on the side of the table. If you tried this from the middle of the...
  12. What's wrong with my loop?

Agree with I agree with this. I also think, a lot of what you need is practice and confidence. Every stroke you take, you are doing something different at the contact of the ball. It might be worthwhile finding a robot you can use and doing thousands upon thousands of simple counterhit and...
  13. Most fragile rubber?

If you had a sheet of T64fx and the topsheet was any different than any other Tenergy you got a bad sheet or a counterfeit sheet. The rubber compound (formula) in the T05, T05fx, T80, T80fx, T64, T64fx is all exactly the same. The only difference is the pimple structure. If it was the sponge...
  14. How to handle very spiny loops?

It might be worth learning how to counter-loop. It can be a small (compact) stroke with good spin contact spinning over the top of the ball.
  15. Top 5 OFF- (Offensive minus) blade?

Yeah. Hand made is always as good as it gets. But you usually do have to wait for the hand crafted blade maker to have time to make the blade. And Limba-Ayous with ZLF sounds like it would be really nice. But I have never tried one made with that construction. I like to talk about things...
  16. Top 5 OFF- (Offensive minus) blade?

Good to see you. It has been a while.
  17. Top 5 OFF- (Offensive minus) blade?

It might depend on which one and what the outer plies are. But the ones that are trying to be like the Butterfly Innerforce ALC should be somewhat similar in playing characteristics. The ones that have Limba-Limba as the two plies outside of the ALC layer will play like an Off- blade on softer...
  18. Top 5 OFF- (Offensive minus) blade?

I have not seen you play. But, with the 40+ Poly ball those notions of Off- and All+ blades before you get to Off blades does not apply the same way as it did in the smaller, faster celluloid ball days. Get an Innerforce ALC and see how you like it. From what you described, it will likely...
  19. Top 5 OFF- (Offensive minus) blade?

I like biaxialerzug's list. I would make the list longer than 5 and add: OSP Virtuoso OSP Vituoso + Nittaku Acoustic Nittaku Violin But Yasaka Sweden Extra is a nice Off- blade too. What is your reason for wanting to change blades?
  20. How to play against flat hitter?

To me, it sounds like you have some ideas in your head that are not based in reality that will hold you back. It is fine to want to loop. To learn. To develop. But your idea about what IS correct and wanting to "master the hard way...", I think you would benefit from a coach who can tell...
