  1. Offensive players do you prefer inner or outer carbon and why?

Inner. I love outer too. but I'm not the best player in the world with a killer loop drive in every shot. I mostly rely on heavy spin but slowish looping to get the job done. I find outer helps my backhand blocking and speed but negatively impacts my spin (unless it's Hinoki outer) Therefore...
  2. Looking for high arc rubber

    It will drop faster tho
  3. Picking rubber philosophy

I mean to add. For beginner. Once you're great ten 05 was the best choice but Hexer Duro is a bit easier to use than g1
  4. Picking rubber philosophy

Andro Hexer Duro is a perfect JPEN rubber for single sided. it's softer than g1 so better for backhand and gives spin easier without driving into the ball so much. it was my favourite when I was picking up JPEN DOnt use sticky rubber as it makes backhand impossible.
  5. Uda Yukiya (Japan)

Imho most of the press outside of China is too hungry for a legend like JOW. they should celebrate the successes of their players rather than thinking one single good performance a year or two a year is more indicative of ability than unexpected losses. this has created a toxic culture...
  6. Is Fang Bo Carbon worth it?

Both your blades are very fast already. the FB2 basically has a lot more spin but is a lot slower. Especially on backhand. The V14pro is a faster viscaria and the TB ZLC is faster than a Viscaria and the original FB2 is slower than the VisThe FB2x is a bit faster but you loose flex for the...
  7. Spinny setup

Innerforce alc.s is spinnier than the normal innerforce and slower than a vis? Not sure it's any good tho
  8. Japanese Penhold Tactics + Advice

At a casual level learn sidespin. Serve long and try to punish the predictable returns. FOr the short game just practice. JPEN has an amazing short game but remember your only big weapon is forehand topspin so your whole game needs to be around thinking how to get them to let you hit a...

  10. Butterfly blades - the whole truth!

So assuming that the blade weighs 85g how much do the handles and intermediate and top ply weigh. If you say only 4g extra then it must be about 10g
  11. fh rubber reccomendation

  16. Why single-ply hinoki not popular in plastic ball era

To be honest perosnally it is an issue if you play one sided. It just makes it harder. Also the backhand becomes more of an issue. Forehand loops are fine, smashing is harder but the big backhand punch is much better with grippy. It just becomes very spin sensitive with tack
  17. Why single-ply hinoki not popular in plastic ball era

I have to disagree, single ply hinoki is excellent at looping. It's softness combined with the use of softer rubbers makes it deadly with spin and speed. If you watch KTS or RSM they are looping and driving beasts.
  18. Why single-ply hinoki not popular in plastic ball era

There is the risk to break if you drop but I've had a few JPEN ranging from a 120 dollar to a Xiom Katana Platinum second hand and some shakehands ones. two 9mm shake and 4 10.5mm JPEN. I played with them not too much maybe total 300-500 hours. I hit the table about 7-12 times and dropped them...

Well it was when he was 15 :') people think his style won't change as he grew up were deluded
  20. Boll Allround Wood + Sriver combo opinion needed

Korbel Vs primorac doesn't matter at all from a long gap pick whatever you like the look of. But Korbel is definitely faster. roundell is softer and older. Rozena is faster. beyond that I haven't used either for years and can't remember properly but again both are reasonably high quality...
