Yes, Monteiro is still the national coach. But Hugo’s personal coach is Paco.

This year he still wasn’t the official coach, so he only went to the ones he could. Hugo officially announced him starting next year, so he should be on all competitions for 2026

Unfortunately, I don’t think it will help us that much. He gave it as a gift to an influencer, but it’s a mini “ping pong” kit from his brand. The design looks like his XIOM blades, but it’s probably just a cheap pre-made racket. We should get more news as the new year approaches.

Do you have a guess about what it could be? Would it be more related to the number of players required and the possible singles/doubles configurations? I don’t see them changing the first to 8 pts format and each game counting as a point instead of the whole match.

Hugo moving to Butterfly is probably what makes the most sense for both parties. I hope Hugo continues having unique game shirts like he did with XIOM. The current Butterfly ones are a bit bland lol

I can't say anything about the other stuff, but I don't think him having DHS tables on his new club means he is leaving Xiom. He put the DHS tables and balls because those will be used in major tournaments. He probably just wants the best quality + best tournament setting adaptation for whenever...
