  1. Speed glue to Protect Stiga blade from Splintering?

Personally I would seal any limba and/or Stiga blade. I had a Stiga Eternity when it first came out and this was the result of the very first rubber removal. Eternally no more Stiga blades for me after that, lol

Generally I prefer H3 41 deg on my FH, but on the 75 Inner I use Jupiter 3 Asia 41 deg. I much prefer hard Chinese rubbers on the FH side. On a side note, my 38 deg BD feels softer than my 37 deg J3, not sure why yet.

Received a red sheet of Big Dipper, 38 deg today and got to try it on the BH side of the Sanwei 75 inner. Very good spin, comparable if not more spinny, but slower, than D09C. Will try it on the 36.5 ALXi next, as the Sanwei 75 inner is not particularly easy to do fast BH to BH rallies to tell...
  4. Should I boost my Rozena rubbers?

I boost my D09C and T05 with either regular or national white Seamoon, whichever readily available, just to increase the size of shrunken rubbers. The regular seamoon works better in that matter in my experience.
  5. Double Fish samples has arrived - what is your opinions?

The 3* DF balls are so similar to the DHS ones so I'm wondering if they're from the same manufacturer. Otherwise, nice heavy and durable balls compared to Tibhar ones, which is like half the price of Nittaku balls. Still, I much prefer the feeling of the Nittaku ones.
  6. Is there a good Harimoto ALC clone/alternative?

From the inner carbon blades that I've tried, there are 2 blades that I think are more suitable for two-winged loopers than Long V: - Nittaku So-ten: plays like a slower but spinner and more controlled Viscaria and doesn’t feel like a typical inner alc blade. Would be more suitable for spin and...
  7. Sanwei 75 inner vs DHS power g5x

The 75 inner is a quality blade, punching way above its price, but I would not recommend it for BH dominant players, simply because it's kinda head heavy compared to, say, the Viscaria. The BH over the table flick suffers a bit because of that, and it's harder to do quick BH to BH rallies. You...

My 3rd inner carbon blade in a span of one month, with the Xiom 36.5 ALXi coming within few days...
  9. Dignics 09c is amazing

D09C is the best BH rubber ever for me, hand down. Loads of spin and good speed, last way longer than Tenergies or any ESN rubbers I've tried, and could be boosted using same boosters as for H3 once the performance slightly drops.
  10. Rubber cost

Why is it T05 instead up T500? They are only up to 80. One doesn't need to make a whole mold to test pip sizes. Much can be modeled before making. As an engineer I would often tell my customers their design was not good, so they didn't need to waste money with the trial and error. They...
  11. Rubber cost

No, I'm not talking about the molding process. What I mean is the dimensions of the pimples and the topsheet are from trial and error. They did like hundreds of experiments to come up with Tenergy topsheets, and the numbers 05, 64, 80, etc are the last 2 digits of the experiment numbers iirc...
  12. Rubber cost

Also the R&D cost. For BTY, they probably have like thousands of molds from failed experiments that have value of scalp metals, which costs millions to make.
  13. Loki Arthur Pro ZLC

Short answer, I don't really know. It's not like the two blades are the same everywhere else except the composite layers. Thickness, weight, glue, blade size, etc, all can contribute.
  14. Loki Arthur Pro ZLC

Compared to the normal Long V of my friend, it's a tad slower, especially on top end, higher arc, less dwell time (again, not sure because of the PBO layers or the sealant), easier to generate power and spin on BH. More suitable for amateur players, except for FH monsters, I think.

  16. Tibhar K3 durability and alternatives

A well-maintained D09C would significantly outlast K3 easily. My sheet is still tacky after like 90 hours of use, even if the topsheet shows heavy signs of use.
  17. Loki Arthur Pro ZLC

After a lot of sealing and sanding, I finally got to try the 75 Inner PBO today. The blade weights 89g after the sealing and edge tape . I have the boosted market version of H3 OS 41deg on FH, boosted Jupiter 3 Asia 39 deg on BH. It is an interesting blade. The dwell time is less than the 75...

Dude, what kind of glue are you using? That looks so satisfying.
  19. Loki Arthur Pro ZLC

Just received the 75 pbo inner today and tbh, it's the worst blade I've owned in term of finishing. There are spinters already on the handle despite being brand new, and probably there will be more if played, and the top plies need to be heavily sealed. Don't know if I wanna glue my rubbers on...
  20. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Asia (40 deg) - FH or BH?

I use J3 asia 39 deg on the BH side of my Inner 75, and it works with some trade offs. The spin is excellent, but the speed is kinda slow, and you have to be very active with your strokes. I think it could be very good for developing an active BH before moving on to something faster.
