  1. Ovtcharov ALC

    Pretty confusing statement 😅
  2. Ovtcharov ALC

Is the Ovtcharov ALC head heavy with the Glayzer setup?
  3. Ovtcharov ALC

How is g09c FH and Glayzer BH? I thought of stepping down from Dignics, currently I'm using D05 on both sides on FZD ALC. Sometimes on loose balls I'm making more errors and service receive is not consistent in D05 for me at my current level. But I like the feel of D05 in most cases in loops and...
  4. Ovtcharov ALC

I want answers for this post.. I want to buy a same setup to try as an EJ 😝
  5. ALC vs ZLC

Yes irrespective of the fibers, feel is important. I tried the Amultart(ZLC) + MX-P of my clubmate last week. It felt more softer than my FZD ALC. Maybe it's because of the Hinoki vs Koto in my FZD outer layer. Amultart felt softer and FZD ALC has that crisp feel. And I didn't feel any increase...
  6. ALC vs ZLC

Such a nice explanation. Now I have some clarity. Just with the carbon material we cannot judge a blade's behaviour, which differs from person to person based on their playing style. At this point, I completely agree with you.
  7. ALC vs ZLC

Franziska innerforce zlc too with the same composition
  8. ALC vs ZLC

I like my FZD ALC so much. Its weight balance, vibration, and crisp feel are almost perfect for me. So I thought of buying one more blade on the same series to try with other rubbers. But from the above discussions I've concluded that ZLC will give an entirely different feel than ALC blades. So...
  9. ALC vs ZLC

Gotcha, so it will be a completely different feel than ALC. Then I put my EJing purchase into something else 😅
  10. ALC vs ZLC

Got it, I missed the fact that ZLC blades have thinner cores. But still in this case also as per butterfly FZD ZLC has a lesser reaction rating than FZD ALC (very small 0.1) and again because ZLCs have a great sweet spot and more feedback, Does FZD ZLC feel and play better(control, forgiving, I...
  11. ALC vs ZLC

I've recently talked with a TT veteran who played nationals during his prime and currently selling TT equipments and has a very good knowledge of the equipments. During the conversation, he told me that ZLC is slower than ALC and ZLC has a much better sweet spot than ALC. Till now I was under...

@BobFL What is that grip you have on the handle?
  13. Using D05 for a week, it too fast and hard to control... how to use it ?

But he has bought the rubber now and Dignics is a premium rubber. So let's throw some of your insights so that he can master it 🙃
  14. Using D05 for a week, it too fast and hard to control... how to use it ?

I can agree on this. For the passive game with loose balls with minimum or no spin, D05 is hard to control. Need a loose wrist and good technique. But for the top spin game with good technique, D05 is a monster.
  15. Using D05 for a week, it too fast and hard to control... how to use it ?

I'm using the same setup and I can throw some insights on this. I'm using D05 on both sides of my FZD ALC. I was using H3N(FH) and Rakza 7 Soft(BH). After switching to D05 literally all the balls were off the table and I couldn't loop at all. Now it has been 7 months and I can say that this is...
  16. Yasaka rakza 7 soft

I've never used these rubbers andro R37, Acuda s3, Donic m3 but I've used Rakza 7 soft for backhand. It was sensitive to incoming spins compared to Hurricane 3 neo and the Dignics 05 which I'm using right now, Rakza 7 soft was much more sensitive to the incoming spins. My technique was poor at...
  17. I hit my Racket on the TT table

Battle scars 😅 it's a nice metaphor. I'll still play with the edge tapes, gives the blade some protection and nice aesthetic. Sure I'll add some glue and put some weight. 🙌
  18. I hit my Racket on the TT table

Actually I've removed the rubbers at the edges to check whether it affected the surface of the ply or not. Fortunately there's not splinters coming out. I'll fill the crack with some glue and put weights on it since I don't have experience with vises and pliers.
  19. I hit my Racket on the TT table

Maybe I'll just apply some glue and seal, coz I'm afraid sweat or water can sink in the crack. I like my FZD ALC so much, that I've tried Viscaria and TB ALC also and the feel is completely different through everyone is saying that all are clones. I'll think of getting a backup ply as you said...
